Activating the AA gun took some time, had to find the place to switch it on. Seems every building was filled by the enemy and took time to clear out rooms to find the needed switch. I forgot there was an arrow pointing me where to go and got a little lost in the combat.
It was cool seeing the big gun fend off the incoming ship. Though it did nothing for the ground forces so I had to take them out on my own. Some poorly placed grenade throws I found myself taking awhile to get rid of them.
The ghosts dodged my fire for awhile until I went down there to deal with them seems my ally could not take them out on their own. I waited for our Pelican to drop a Warthog and we set off to the next objective. Though I quickly realized I left one of the Spartans behind, so I doubled back and picked up the ally. We took out a bunch of grunts and elites, the Warthog shining with its bed mounted gun.
Activating the com array is the next objective, though there were many enemies between it and us. Some ghosts tried to stop us but the minigun disagreed on the Warthog. I ran into the building to restock and to get health.
When we reach out objective, we have to hold the location secure for awhile as more enemies show up. I use the needler rifle and take out a bunch of enemies using their own jackals gun. When I return to the Warthog it has an upgraded gun on it.. Looks like badass, fires a bolt of energy, like a lighting bolt. Seems to pack quite the punch, though that minigun has been around since the first Halo and its such a classic weapon. Maybe over time ill enjoy the upgraded guns.
