A base defense mission as the enemies are dropped by by ship, I use my scoped semi auto rifle. I think thats my favorite gun in this game. There are some pretty cool alien weapons but the weapons the marines get are awesome. I had to redo the defense mission, those grunts with plasma grenades running at me is pretty scary. And at least one came around the corner and took me out. Then I stuck a plasma grenade on an Elite and it ran at me taking us both out. Haha... good times.
Moving onto the mission using the laser system to bring an orbital bombardment on the Wraiths. I get taken out once while trying and then pull it off the second time. After taking out the tanks I get in a Ghost and move onto other parts of the mission on the map. Bringing the anti aircraft gun online I got lost in where to enable the controls. An Elite jumps on my Ghost and take me out so I had to retry taking the AA guns. Watching out the for drop ships guns at the same time is pretty hard. With all of the enemies shooting at me while trying to find the controls for the anti aircraft gun its quite the challenge.
It feels like Reach has alot of vehicles in this game compared to others in the Halo series. Maybe I need to play more of them but I do like the feeling of Reach. Nice for it to finally come to PC, im done owning consoles. Only working with emulators so hope they release the other Halo games soon. From what ive read I may have to wait awhile, maybe until 2024 even.. damn thats four years from now. Hoping the others are released between now and then.
Well maybe between now and 2024 Xbox emulation will take off and there wont be as much as a need for PC ports.. Hah who knows, only time will tell.
