Adding 255 AI players to a map designed for 60 can get pretty crazy. A procession of enemies crossed the bridge, but luckily I had heavy armor. It was a choke point and seemed the AI did not try to cross any other way. So we had to stop them from crossing the bridge. Otherwise the enemy could capture a point across the bridge and spawn in. And when they spawn in, its alot since theres so many players. Its hard to take back control. Funny how it plays out differently than it did in multiplayer with people. Using a modded file I can raise the AI bot limit from 60 to 255 players. Back when this game came out it was probably not possible to have so much going on at once for most PCs. But 15 years later we have much better PCs and it can run this game across 250 FPS normally. When I add in the bots it drops in to the double digits but seems to handle it none the less. Its been alot of fun experimenting with old games.
