#1 🔸 The Beginning of your journey towards the best version of yourself

Have you ever felt that you could do more, but you don’t know where to start? That somewhere inside you, there’s a better version of yourself, yet the path to it seems unclear? This is a question we all ask ourselves, and the answer begins with a single step: awareness.

Personal development is not a linear path, nor a one-size-fits-all formula. It’s a unique journey, different for each of us. Behind every person who seems “balanced” or “accomplished,” there are moments of doubt, exploration, giving up, and starting over. The key isn’t to find a perfect path, but to create your own, step by step.

The first step in this journey is to understand where you are right now. Take a few minutes and reflect: what do you like about yourself? What would you like to improve? What feels like it drains your energy without reason? This simple, honest introspection is the foundation of any real change.

Secondly, stop comparing yourself to others. Everyone has different contexts, opportunities, and rhythms. Constant comparison only undermines your confidence. Instead, compare yourself with who you were yesterday. Ask yourself: “What can I do today to be 1% better tomorrow?” This mindset builds genuine progress.

From a psychological perspective, change occurs when we move from desire to action. It’s easy to want things but hard to act. That’s why you should start small. Instead of saying, “I’ll become the best version of myself in six months,” start with concrete steps: read for 10 minutes a day about a topic that excites you, exercise for 15 minutes, write down your thoughts. These small, repeated actions create habits that transform your life.

For example: a friend of mine, overwhelmed with work, decided to meditate for just five minutes each morning. After two weeks, he told me he not only felt calmer but also began making clearer decisions and spotting opportunities he had previously missed. The change didn’t come from a sophisticated strategy but from a small, consistent act.

Why emphasise small steps? Because they are sustainable. Our minds resist sudden changes. But small steps trick the mind and train it for bigger changes. It’s exactly like going to the gym: you don’t lift the heaviest weights on day one; you start gradually.

Here’s your challenge: today, choose one small action that brings you closer to the best version of yourself. It could be something simple: a message of gratitude, ten push-ups, a journalling session, a fifteen-minute walk. The important thing is to start. This is your first step on the path.
