Maybe you already noticed but in this period there is a category of games sprouting up like grass: those where you can earn cryptocurrency while playing. Fantastic, you'd say, but there is a catch: some of these need a huge initial investment, like axie infinity, some are not profitable, some take too long to get started or rely too much on luck like alien worlds, some are not even fun to play.

Yesterday, between one reddit shitpost and the other I found this post on the NANO subreddit and decided to try it out.

Nano Royale: the game

The game has a very simple concept that makes it very fun and addictive, it's kinda similar to the .io games: when two blobs collide the winner gets away with 50% of the loser's mass and you can sacrifice 25% to get a boost. How to determine which one wins the collision? It's easy: if they have the same colour then the smallest one is the loser, else red wins against green, blue against red and green against blue, in a rock-paper-scissors fashion.

This crypto game is not like the other classic ones, with lots of boring farming and NFT collection, games where if you want to withdraw your earnings you need to have at least $10 or something like that: here you open the page, play the game and collect your nano directly to your wallet, no questions asked and no login required.

Ok but, the money?

As you might already know, NANO is a great cryptocurrency worth around 10 USD, featuring low energy consumption and free instant transactions as its main advantages.

While playing Nano Royale you can choose between 4 different modes:

1) Faucet

As the name implies, this mode is free to play: when you win a match you spin a wheel that has some fixed prizes. 10% of the NANO you earn in this way will be directly withdrawable, the remaining 90% will be locked; because of this, you will find less competitive games in this category and profits are low.

2) Low-stakes

Here is where the fun begins: to play in this game mode you need to bet a low amount of your nano (right now 0,001, but I have seen it change): you can use your own (by depositing), your in-game withdrawable credit or the locked one that you got from Faucet. Profits range from 1.6x to 20x of the paid amount for a 1v1 but they grow exponentially with more players joining the match (with 3 players the max becomes 60x).

3 and 4) medium and high stakes

Medium stakes are the same as low stakes but 10 times more everything, high stakes are still in development.

How much do you earn?

It's hard to say, the good thing is that it depends on your ability and not that much on your luck. The game has been out for a little more than a month and top player Senatus won 55.53 NANO, I personally made a bit less than 1 nano over the span of 300 games (average 1 minute each, so 5 hours. Yeah this game is very addictive) but if you are better than me you can obviously get more nano.

The community

Joining the discord has been a nice surprise: a very active and energetic community, you can talk to the developer, give suggestions and find players for higher-stake games. If you link your discord account to the game you also earn 25% more.

Can you play on mobile?

The developer is currently focusing on developing the mobile version of the game (should take around 2 weeks), this is also the reason why in every mode prizes and stakes got temporarily lowered to a more easily manageable level for him (they will rise back up don't worry)

Conclusion

I see a bright future ahead for this game that is as fun to play as agar.io but where you can also earn money! Come try it yourself and see, everything else aside, this is absolutely the best faucet I have ever seen.
