Vertalo, Advantage Blockchain, tZERO and Custodian Prime Trust join forces to take a substantial step into maturing the digital asset ecosystem. Vertalo connects the dots and "facilitates a start-to-finish ownership experience for Advantage Blockchain’s clients, with a real estate portfolio exceeding $300M." Public blockchain Tezos will be used to tokenize these real estate assets and as the blockchain that will register the Security Token Offerings (STO's). XTZ, the native token of the Tezos blockchain, will be used alongside USD as paid-in capital to obtain tokenized real estate.
With an estimated value of $228 trillion, real estate is the largest asset class in the world, but trading these assets has not yet been introduced to technology of this century.
Current real estate transactions are highly outdated. For every transaction legal processes need to be repeated, records are signed on paper, all results in low transparency and high fees. This results in limited accessibility, local transactions, small market size and low liquidity.
tZERO and Vertalo offer tokenization of real estate on the Tezos blockchain which will take regulated asset trading into today's tech standards. With the partnership, the digital asset ecosystem is maturing and liquidity is improved substantially.

The deal between Vertalo and Advantage Blockchain allows for:
- Advantage to leverage the Tezos blockchain via Vertalo’s Digital Transfer Agent platform to tokenize real estate properties and REITs in the Philadelphia, South-Eastern Pennsylvania, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeastern business corridors
- Plan to trade these assets directly on the tZERO ATS
- Custody and settlement services to be provided by Prime Trust
- Vertalo to serve as the Digital Transfer agent that connects these parties with the clients of Advantage Blockchain
The project will take off soon, starting with $90 million of office and hospitality real estate over the next three months.
