I've been using the Brave browser for about 6 months.(more like 5½ really)

And while I haven't 100% enjoyed the experience, I have seen it's utility over Chrome and the likes and have fully come to terms with that. 

In this post, I will explain why I chose the browser, what made me switch, and the most important thing to like half of y'all, how much I've made over a 6 month period.

Let's go!

Ok. First. What the heck made me switch from Chrome?

Fun fact, I actually hated the Brave browser at first. I mean, it looked like Chrome. It felt like Chrome. So why the heck were thousands of people switching?

I decided to try the browser for a week on my phone, after which I made up my mind to delete it and never look back. Well, we all know how that turned out.😂

It did feel like Chrome, sure. And look like Chrome. But with the touch of a button, the ads were gone. ALL the ads were gone. Even the ones in-between YouTube videos, which is still astonishing to me. I don't even need to buy YouTube premium!

And it's a lot more lightweight than Chrome, at least on mobile.

Then there's the earning money part. I really didn't see that coming, but I still appreciated it. (I'm getting to my earnings!)

Lastly, it saves data a whole lot. Many of you who follow me know that I'm a student, and bar my trading profits, I don't have a ton of money to spray away. I mostly take care of myself and foot my own tuition to take the stress off my parents, and that means I have to trade full time. And while I make profits, cutting back unnecessary spending like renewing a data plan before its expiry date are important.

Which is why I like that Brave saves data on the go, and on the desktop. 

Now, on to my earnings!

I have been using the browser for about 6 months, so I'll just lay my earnings bare per month, rather than per day.

October 2019: 7.5BAT

November 2019: 8BAT

December 2019: 15BAT

January 2020: 20BAT(+134BAT from Brave publisher rewards)

February 2020: 14BAT(got way less ads this month) + 130BAT from Brave publisher rewards

March 2020: 40BAT(but only because BAT halved in value) + 234BAT from Brave publisher rewards

April 2020: 17BAT(+25BAT from publisher rewards because I didn't write anything on my blog all month)

May 2020: 1.5BAT so far.
