*Ahem*
My Crypto Activist StakeHodling [C.A.S.H.] articles are typically long, and I tend to talk about a lot of things online; for this article: I want to talk about real world issues, and how you and I may potentially be able to fix them.
Problem: As the world population grows past 7.8 billion¹, the cost for food & water will inevitably rise with it, causing food shortages in many areas
Answer: In order to lower the chances that this doesn't happen where you live, those who have the means can provide for others
Throughout history, economies with access to the coast and a steady supply of food have done better than their counterparts; point in case ³ ...

Living on the coast has its benefits, as well as living in a country where food availability (currently high food expenditure per person) allows for cheap food choices.

What if we could lower the cost of food AND make it available to every city around the world? Like having a 2 acre farm's worth of food grown out of a typical shipping container ...
The current downsides are the energy consumption needed to power the smaller scale projects, as well as the final mile costs⁶, or packaging and delivery to the customer costs; the costs are so high in fact that these projects may have to be subsidized by governments, as in history ... or via Crypto HodLers footing the bill ...
Stats
According to private company disclosures, Kimbal Musk (Elon Musk's brother)'s company Square Root, and cost research compiled AgFunder -- the estimated costs for such projects is currently around USD$50 million (₿5,000), currently yielding a little under USD$140 million (₿14,000) in produce per year.⁶
Imagine you're a Crypto Shark in your favorite HodL position, Bitcoin has 100x and you're now a millionaire -- not unlike Shark Tank's investors, who want to diversify and invest in upcoming industries -- you were pitched an idea from a company that was in this industry, would you accept & fund it? For a country, or even an individual, the cost & food production is a direct correlation with independence; in effect, the question is: if HodLing 25,000XRP made you rich enough to feed a city, would you do it? This may seem far fetched, but I personally feel that uncapped Crypto & Proof of Stake such as Tezos, Ethereum 2.0 and maybe even smaller projects like Energi: once HodLers in these Crypto have enough to fund large scale projects like these, it will drive more attention to those coins (which also have a form of income via merely holding and staking the asset on chain) -- in short, you can help farmers, by farming the Crypto, that supports the farm.

Conclusion
Whether Crypto enthusiasts will solve the current world's problems or merely be passive viewers -- I personal have hope that our future will not only include the above mentioned means of indoor perenial farms, but also other tech, which I shall endeavor to Tweet and write articles to bring to your attention.
For now though, a couple questions I have for you: Would you eat more veggies if they cost less than a USD$1 McChicken (₿0.0001/10,000 Sats)?
