Hi everyone! It's pretty hot outside in my country, probably one of the last really hot days before fall sets in, so it's a perfect day to make a new Splinterlands post!
Today I'll be making a new Social Media Challenge post to further fund my deck, this weeks challenge is one we had before:
🔥 Share Your Most Remarkable Splinterlands Moments: Do you possess a battle of epic proportions that deserves to be seen by all? Have you crafted something extraordinary within the Splinterlands realm? Maybe you've got profound thoughts, insights, or strategies related to stats, cards, abilities, or gameplay that are waiting to be shared? We want it all, and we want it to be nothing short of AMAZING!
To find out how you can participate in the challenge yourself, you can check out the Splinterlands post here.
Oh there's plenty of these moments for Splinterlands players so let's talk about one, but before I go to today's main subject, I want to share my alt accounts performance and earnings, since the glint rewards for lower leagues have been increased it's earning pretty decent amounts of glint! Every win it's earning 200 - 300 glint and just below 1 SPS in Silver 1 and that's a BIG improvement, before it just wasn't worth the time to play lower level accounts, you needed to win 7 or 8 battles to be able to buy 1 chest so my alt account was inactive for a while.
Today's topic is - again about the new reward set, since a couple of weeks we're able to earn new reward cards, and it's been a lot of fun seeing how they change the gameplay in different rulesets, I had saved just over 100k glint at the launch of the new set, so I was able to get myself 1 legendary and 4 epics right from the start.
One of them really surprised, it had one of the new abilities, Wingbreak it Always targets enemy units with Flying first regardless of abilities or rulesets, so it doesn't care about Taunt units and does +2 damage if the target has Flying! That's great for Earthquake matches, and sometimes normal matches too since it can really surprise your enemy and messes up their strategy, for example it can one-shot a max level Gargoya Devil, even if he's protected by a non flying tank!
And because of the increased glint earnings with two days left in this season, I've already earned a lot more glint than I did before so I guess it's increased in all leagues?
A couple of seasons ago, I was earning about 80k on average, last season this had increased to 100k, and this season I'm already up to 135k but this is boosted because I rented 50k SPS on top of my own 57k bag to test how this would affect my earnings, and while I did increase I don't think I'll rent again.
But without further ado let's take a close look at this new champ and see how it performs in battle!
So, depending how much glint I earn in the next seasons and how my spending strategy will change, It will probably take some time before I can level this one up, I was planning to buy 1 legendary draw and 4 epic draws every season, when it gets to level 3 it picks up Reflection Shield which makes it more versatile to use it in blast battles too.
The battle I saved to share for this post is a 36 mana Modern League, tis but scratches / fog of war / earthquake battle with only the Water splinter locked out, so, flying unit's are expected here and because Night Reaper ignores taunt and can strike the back line in Fog of War, makes it a perfect choice. Of course plans only go so far and my opponent has plans of it's own too and will probably interfere with mine, so let's see how this goes. It's cool not a lot of players in my league (Gold) own this card yet so it's mostly a surprise. 😁
First look at the battlefield:
So, I've got a level advantage in this battle that's a nice start, my opponents plan is to let the Earthquake kill the Venari Marksrat to boost both Usut and Riftwing, and Astral Entity will resurrect him again for another round of martyr boost, when Usut's Bloodlust is gearing up he's hard to stop, especially at level 3 with Self Heal!
My Line-Up:
- Summoner: Quix the Devous - reason: Speed management and access to the Dragons.
- First position: Chaos Agent - reason: Low mana dodgy filler card to let the earthquake do it's damage in the other team.
- Second position: Pelacor Mercenary - reason: Flying, good damage, retaliate and self heal.
- Third position: Void Dragon - reason: Fast, Void with Phase, Flying.
- Fourth position: Venari Marksrat - reason: Boost the surrounding cards with martyr.
- Fifth position: Night Reaper - reason: Kill flying units.
- Sixth position: Regal Peryton - reason: Flying with good damage.
The Battle:
Round 1: Hmmm.. Chaos Agent died without dodging any attack so that sucked, Usut was nearly killed though so that's nice, he won't survive next round so the resurrect will get wasted on him and not like planned on the martyr. 🙂
Round 2: Ooh! Skok brought another resurrect! Well it didn't matter anyway because Usut got killed three times this round 🤣 good bye with your great plan, it really is a good strategy by the way.
Round 3: It's not four vs. one, and Night Reaper is now doing 4 + 2 against flying units damage, very strong, I like this card very much! 😍
Round 4: Night Reaper even got the kill shot, ending the battle with a win for me!
You can watch the battle unfold for yourself here.
So, 400 glint and over 5 SPS is very nice! This was boosted by my 50k SPS rent for one week, but I think only the glint is boosted right? The SPS is just devided to everyone who's playing, so it varies daily.
Anyway this is it for my post today, I still have some work to do before making dinner, draining my energy enough so I can pick up playing on Saturday again.

Thank you for reading!!!
If you haven't made an account already, please consider using my referral link to sign up, I'll happily send the amount I get for your signup back to you in DEC or SPS to help you start.
Have a great day!
