Ampleforth (AMPL) will launch on the TRON, Polkadot and NEAR blockchains, the Ampleforth Foundation announced on Dec. 2.

• The launches will make AMPL, with its elastic supply and fully decentralized model, the first independent multichain cryptocurrency
• The three founders of the blockchains were all praise for AMPL and its design, saying that the token will find extensive use in the applications being built on their respective networks
• The Ampleforth Foundation also said that it expects to more blockchain integrations, some of which may be handled by third parties
• Ampleforth’s elastic supply is designed to enable use on multiple chains; AMPLs on all chains are drawn from the same supply pool
• Co-founder Brandon Iles is set to speak at first Polkadot Decoded event that will be held on Dec. 3
