Thelephora palmata - Mushroom up to 100 mm high, bushy, branched, without the main body; twigs dense, flattened, wavy; when young, whitish, then dark gray-brown, dark brown, with beveled, serrated lighter ends; sometimes chocolate-brown or with rust-purple shade.

Flesh thin, leathery, cork, woody; brown-black; after drying very brittle and brittle; odor unpleasant, rotten or garlic, sometimes without smell.

Occurrence: On the ground, on sandy ground, in coniferous forests and undergrowth; infrequent. From August to November.

Value: Unaffected fungus.
