I decided to spend Monday in a very pleasant temperature in Park Śląski. More precisely, in the open-air museum located nearby. This charming place is available for free every Monday. It is true that this is a limited version of the tour, because we do not have access to the interior, but you can also see a lot through the windows of historic houses.

Wyjątkowo przyjemny temperaturowo poniedziałek postanowiłem spędzić w Parku Śląskim. A precyzyjniej w położonym nieopodal Skansenie. To urokliwe miejsce w każdy poniedziałek jest dostępne nieodpłatnie. Co prawda jest to okrojona wersja zwiedzania, ponieważ nie mamy dostępu do wnętrz, ale przez okienka zabytkowych domów również dużo widać.

The longing for nature and the countryside is huge for me, because I spent a lot of time there during my school holidays. In mid-September, my wish will come true and I will go to my holiday home in the Lublin countryside.

Tęsknota za naturą i wsią jest u mnie ogromna, bo sporo czasu spędzałem tam szkolne wakacje. Już w połowie września moje pragnienie się ziści, i wyjadę do swojego domku wakacyjnego na lubelską wieś.

The open-air museum in Chorzów is a unique place where you can feel the spirit of villages from different regions of Poland, mainly Silesia and "Podbeskidzie".

Skansen w Chorzowie to unikalne miejsce, gdzie poczuć może y ducha wsi z różnym regionów polski, głównie śląska i podbeskidzia.

The climate here is amazing, because the place, apart from historic huts, offers contact with real farm animals, such as cows, goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens, and sometimes you can also meet a cat.

Klimat jest jest tu niesamowity, bo miejsce poza zabytkowymi chatami oferuje kontakt z prawdziwymi zwierzętami hodowlanymi, jak krowy, kozy, owce, króliki, kury, a czasami spotkać można również kota.

While strolling through the open-air museum, you will find a local sculptor, where you can buy interesting exhibits, figurines, sculptures and paintings through the market. A very nice element of walking around this unusual place, detached from a busy city.

Spacerując po skansenie trafimy na miejscowego rzeźbiarza, gdzie drogą targu można nabyć ciekawe eksponaty, figurki, rzeźby czy obrazy. Bardzo miły element spacerowania po tym niezwykłym miejscu, oderwanym od zagonionego miasta.

The open-air museum is open until 6 p.m., but it is so atmospheric there that you should reserve a few hours of free time to visit this beautiful place. More photos and descriptions soon in the next publication.

Skansen otwarty jest do godziny 18-stej, ale jest tam tak klimatycznie, ze warto zarezerwować sobie kilka godzin wolnego czasu na odwiedzenie tego pięknego miejsca. Więcej zdjęć i opisów wkrótce w kolejnej publikacji.
