Today I shelled peanuts to make peanut butter.
It was more what I ate than what I put on the scale.
Every time I ate one I thought, this is the last one and immediately afterwards I couldn't resist and I ate another one.
I couldn't stop.
I don't eat anymore, I told myself.
From then on, whenever I was tempted to eat one, I would repeat my mantra, no.
Cultivating willpower is essential to achieving the goals we have set ourselves.
Due to the frequent migraines I had, I have stopped eating sweets and dairy products it is not a sacrifice and I am not even tempted to transgress because I know how important it is for me to avoid certain foods.
When the stakes are important, the will cannot waver!
Peanut butter is rich in proteins and B vitamins, it also contains manganese, magnesium and iron.
It is a cholesterol-free but caloric food, so it should be consumed in moderation.
Advice
Be patient, your peanut butter will form!
If you don't have a high-powered blender, you can first put the peanuts in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes, being careful not to burn them.
Ingredients
300gr of unsalted roasted peanuts
Preparation
Pour the shelled peanuts into the blender. Start blending at medium-high speed for 30/40 seconds, then collect the mixture on the sides of the bowl with a spatula and lay it on the bottom.
This has to be done several times.
It took me 10 minutes to make it nice and soft!
You just have to spread it on a slice of toast or use it to make cakes and cookies.
