I am still working my way through the Splinterlands battleground trying to raise up in the ranks. I am not doing so great BUT I am earning Glint from my battles. I had 640 Glint burning a hole in my pocket so I figured why not, lets buy some cards with it.

At 150 Glint per common card I could by 4 cards so without further ado let's see what I get.

Yeah getting 3 of the same card back to back was annoying to say the least but then again the more duplicates I get the more I can level up cards. So I figured to combine my cards and now I have a Halaran Huntress that is 1 away from level 2 which is nice I guess.

I am not sure if the better strategy would be to save up my Glint and buy Rare or even save up a long time and get a Epic card. But now looking at the shop I am kind of curious if I should at least get a "Gold Foil Common" card at the end of the season for 3,500 Glint

Right now my end of season bonus is 2,002 Glint and I am sure with enough battles I can get that and my current balance to over the 3,500 amount. That may be tempting.

What I need is not high level cards really because I do not have high level summoners. I need more variety of cards. And with the latest expansion being sold out and a new one coming out soon. That means the Modern battles I play will be only these Rebellion era cards and the new set and I am going to lose all the Chaos Legion cards I accumulated before I stopped playing.

Well only time will tell so until then let's just keep grinding away at the battles and earning that Glint!
