Today we will look in my archive for winter photos from the Museum of Southeast Moravia in Strážnice The Museum of Southeastern Moravia in Strážnice is a complete collection of historical buildings, transferred from their original locations. Restored to original form.

Czech Republic

Central Europe

The village architecture of the so-called Slovácko is presented here. (48°54'15.7"N 17°18'44.1"E)

Original village buildings are built here, from those that belonged to the poorest cottagers to the buildings of richer peasants. They also often show the original construction technologies of these objects, for example from dried clay bricks, so-called anchors, which were made from clay and straw and then dried in the sun. Or a sample of clay plasters.

The area has been continuously built since 1973. For example, a water mill building is being built here. each individual stone is removed from its original location, cleaned, numbered and re-placed in its original location at a new location in the open-air museum. Only mill wheels and drives are made by local carpenters and joiners, because the original ones are already destroyed and cannot be used. It is incredibly accurate and precise work

The exhibition offers a great experience. It is an opportunity to learn about the history of village architecture, historical technological procedures that are starting to be used again today, for example in ecological construction, and it is definitely worth a visit.

I'm a photographer without a studio. Actually! I have the biggest studio possible, it's fields, forests, meadows, cities, just everything that can be captured in a photograph

First, I'd like to write something about me. I call myself a photographer without a studio, but I have the biggest studio in the world. These are forests and meadows, fields, landscapes, towns and villages, their cultural monuments, various events and anniversaries. I'm not much of a copywriter. I'm saying that the photograph itself speaks volumes about the beauty of the place it depicts So I hope you like my photos
