The Basic Attention Token (BAT)
The Basic Attention Token or BAT, is the token that powers the blockchain created by Brave. It is used as reward for the users attention on the digital advertising platform. The Brave project is built on the Ethereum chain, being 100% open-source and decentralized. It was created to reward both users and publishers, to provide a fair return for advertising and to remove the 3rd parties. I started using Brave one year ago and I earned an unexpected amount of BAT. I keep telling myself to move it from Uphold to Celsius Network to earn some interest but I always forget!
Brave and BAT created a relationship between the users, the publisher and the advertiser, where all the components of the chain will have their benefits and rewards. Brave aims to become the king of the browsers and the constant growth is reflected by the BAT price surge.
BAT and Bityard
Bityard is the world leading cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, with the main activity in cryptocurrency contracts with leverage and derivatives exchange. The Basic Attention Token (BAT) is available on Bityard for spot trading. Users can deposit or withdraw BAT or use the Spot Trading platform for exchange/buy/sell. BAT is also integrated in the Contract Trading platform, where users can create contracts that will predict the ADA price at a future date.
Contract Trading BAT
Contract trading involves leverage and the forecast of BAT price in the future. The traders are not buying or selling BAT, they only speculate the price of the token and the percentage of the growth. Contract trading can bring profit faster than holding the asset but it comes with the volatility risk. Contract trading on Bityard is fast, efficient and more rewarding for users as the trading fees are lower than the industry's average, set at 0.05%.
The BAT value will always record positive movements, as the success of Brave will be reflected in the token. As the Brave expansion continues, becoming a challenger for Google, the price of BAT can be used in "Long" contracts to generate profit. In the below scenario, I opened a contract for $5.7 USDT, predicting that the price will drop. My choice was logical as BAT had a constant growth over the last hour . The opening price was $0.42 and the chosen leverage was 10x. The BAT value continued to grow for a while after I created the contract but in few minutes my prediction was correct and the the market correction started.
When the transaction gets confirmed will become available in the “Positions” tab, where contract details such as the leverage, the chosen margin, opening price and opening time can be checked. The contract will be terminated automatically if the BAT price will grow to $0.44 and to obtain the profit, the BAT value must drop to $0.3583.
The contract was created for educational purpose and was closed manually when the BAT price was $0.4211. The experiment purpose was to take advantage of the market correction. The contract profit was $0.13USDT, only 2.37 of the value locked when the contract was opened. Contract trading involves risk and market volatility can impact the price of the chosen cryptocurrency.
Why Bityard is different?
I use Bityard for contract trading because it has the fastest engine on the market, processing up to 1 million transactions per second. My choice of browser is Brave, earning BAT while doing contract trading. The exchange is user friendly, being available for both mobile (Android & IOS) and web, and has the lowest transaction fees. Customer support is available 24/7 via email and live chat, in nine different languages.
Bityard operates with licenses from four different countries: The USA, Australia, Singapore, and Estonia. The following licenses are regulating the exchange activity: the Singapore’s ACRA (Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority), The American Money Services Businesses (MSBs), Estonia’s MTR (Register of Economic Activity) for the European Union, and the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC).
I started my Bityard journey and I learned a lot about contract trading, derivatives and market volatility. This exploration of Bityard helped me to build a better understanding of cryptocurrencies.
