Time flies when you're having fun, or when you earn passive income from innovatory DeFi such as Cub Finance. The flippin' pancakes time was gone and moved all the $CAKE in the Lion's den! The 4% deposit fee felt like like a fortune, mainly because this was the time I had to pay a deposit fee. I paid 16 $CAKE, approximately $190 at the time, and hoped that the 6.227% APY will not drop to quick.

Cub DeFi went live at 10 PM and one hour later after my deposits I already farmed 6.2 CUB. The hourly farming was $23.35 which made me relax a bit thinking that in about 9 hours I will farm enough to cover the deposit fees. Every penny after that will be pure profit.
As the $CUB Pool had no deposit fees, I constantly claimed and added the tokens farmed with CAKE and BUSD. I also compounded whenever I had few $CUB tokens in earnings. Took me 3 hours to farm 22.29 $CUB and a half day to reach 66 tokens, already making profit. Long live this fearless cub!
I farmed 90 CUB tokens by midday and I wanted to secure some of the profit. Pulled the "safety net" and sold 50 $CUB to recover the deposit fees and make stress free earning. The token price went as high as $12 and I sold while the price was dropping heavy, only fractions under 7 USD. Converted 50 CUB into 333 BUSD, which covered the 4% fees and assured profit. The price dropped further but I didn't care... I was there for the long game! One year later and I am still HODLing.
Soon... Kindgdoms were added! The Cub Finance Kingdoms auto compounding vaults brought innovation into DeFi, as the assets will be automatically compounded via smart contract. The $CUB price was under $1 already, and the launch of the Kingdoms pump it a bit.
I moved the $CAKE in the Kingdom to earn both $CAKE and $CUB. The farming APR was 86% with 138% $CAKE farming APY and 110% $CUB APR, accumulating at 248.99 APY.
Auto-compounding $CUB was also amazing as my initial deposit of 689 tokens went quickly to 750, then to 1048. On the 1st of September I passed the 1k $CUB milestone, and the APY was still high ... 98%!
If Cub DeFi would have been a drink ... will be an old malt whiskey with dry taste. The Kingdoms would be a strong flammable rum... as the APY are pure fire!
And now ... fast forward one year! I now HODL 2381 $CUB and the stash keeps growing bigger and bigger. Joined farming with 404 $CAKE and now I have 694, 75% growth in one year! Cub DeFi is great! It's all about evolution and constant rewards for the users!
