The SEC has requested the latest round of information, this time with a very specific deadline.

The price of Ethereum has surpassed $3,300 amid growing expectations that spot ETFs for the cryptocurrency could be launched as early as the end of this week. According to TradingView, the price of Ethereum has risen 16% over the past week, from $2,909 to its current level of $3,364.

Nate Geraci, ETF analyst and president of The ETF Store, shared his prediction of eight spot Ethereum-ETFs launching by the end of the week. "Welcome to spot Ethereum-ETF approval week. I don't know any specific details, I just don't see a compelling reason for further delays at this stage," Geraci wrote.

Several issuers, including VanEck and 21Shares, filed amended registration documents last week in hopes of getting final approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to list spot Ethereum-ETFs.
