Sharks Sports & Entertainment, the parent company of the NHL(National Hockey League) team San Jose Sharks will accept Cryptocurrencies from next season onwards for season passes, suite leases, and partnerships. San Jose Shark president Jonathan Becher announced the news in a tweet yesterday.

The sharks kind of already accepts crypto since they accept Paypal which accepts crypto. "Why not embrace it and make it more visible as opposed to just doing it through a third party?" said Becher.

In a later tweet, Becher said that they will accept Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Wrapped Bitcoin, Dogecoin stablecoins like GUSD, USDC, PAX DAI, and BUSD.

The Sharks are working with BitPay to start accepting Crypto.

Sharks have plans to further the use cases of Crypto over time. They will start to accept Crypto for single-game tickets, F&B, and merch in the future.
