Financial freedom is what everyone dreams of. Some individuals have more than enough money to organize a barbeque for millios of people just for fun while some others are daily struggling to feed their families.
The world we live in right now is full of injustice but at the same time injustice creates opportunities for those who seek them.
One of those opportunities and probably the biggest one this century is blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
Thanks to some innovating people or groups of people (like Satoshi Nakamoto), everyone on this planet can now start their own financial journey without the need of centralized instututions controlling their money.
From Zero To Hero
This is not gonna be a long-ass story bragging about how I am making money out of crypto. Instead, I want this to be a story in which you can understand the importance of taking control of your life.
I used to work for a gambling store in Greece for a monthly salary of $550-$700. After paying my rent/bills ($200/month), buying supplies from the supermarket ($100-$150) and grabbing something to eat and drink every day at work ($100/month) I was left with almost zero $$ to have fun (let alone other unexpected expenses).
I was 25 when I realised that working a 9 to 5 job wasn't gonna get me anywhere and that it's a vicious circle with no way around it if I kept doing what I was doing. One day, a friend of mine introduced me to blockchain tech and since I'm a curious folk I decided to take a deeper look at it.
I've heard about Bitcoin before but the only thing I knew was that you can buy illegal stuff with it which is pretty much what "The Elite" wants you to believe.
I accidentally stumbled upon Steem Hive while searching for info about different projects and that was when my life took a 180 degrees turn.
Hive allows it's users to monetize their content on a decentralized envinroment and earn crypto (Hive tokens) for their work.
I decided to save every single Hive I earned and quit my job when I'll have more than enough Hive to pay a few months rent. I knew this was a long shot but earning money from my content was like a dream come true for me. I was always active on other social media like Instagram, facebook etc. so there was nothing to loose exept time.
3 Years Later
I am 28 years old now, I quit my job almost 2 years ago and making a living out of crypto. Not only that but I do not owe money to anyone and have a nice chunk of savings in case I ever need anything.

If earning crypto (which can be traded for cash anytime) for doing what I love isn't awesome then I don't know what is. All I do on Hive is what I kept doing for years on other social media but I am now earning crypto and not making huge internet companies like IG, Youtube, Facebook etc. rich for my work.
Did Facebook ever paid you a damn penny? I don't think so...
I know that quiting my job and focus entirely on what I really want to do is risky but that's life right? Opportunities always involve risk so all we have to do is minimize the risk and seize the opportunity.
