This is my first post about digital assets although i am investing for 3 years and i hope that it would be informative and will help you to choose accordingly with your needs.
Crypto.com company
It was formed in 2016 as Monaco Technologies GmbH and rembranded as Crypto.com in 2018. Its base is in Hong Kong as many other companies in this field.
Crypto.com app
They have done a great job in the UI of the app and they do always improve the experience, quite often i made add. It is very easy to use even for the inexperienced people as you get get the grip fast and easy. The moment you install the app, it will ask you to verify your email and then to provide your id along with a selfie and in about a few minutes they will approve your account (they say 2-4 days but as i have seen till now they just need minutes), then you will open an EU IBAN account or whatever area you are living and you are ready to transfer money through SEPA or whatever bank transfer you choose. You can always send your existing assets or buy with VISA but i don't recommend this yet due to high transaction fees. In the app, you can: receive, withdraw, buy, sell and lock assets for interest. The rates vary from 1% to 18% and that depends in which term you choose (they have weekly, monthly and 3 months terms and interest are always deposited weekly) and what asset you choose to lock. Also, there is a minimum amount for each asset that is needed to lock and start earning.
Crypto.com Cards
Till now they have shipped cards in Singapore and in the USA and they are ready to start shipping in the EU. There are many deferent cards to choose from, but it comes to how much money are you willing to lock so you can get a better card.
From the moment you verify your residential address you can just wait for things to take their course and your card to land at your hands.
Crypto.com Exchange
Their exchange is quite new, just a few months running and currently still in a beta phase but it is very good, easy (as long as you know the thrill or if you get things fast). Its too big differences from other exchanges are the 20% annual interest rate in CRO when you lock them in the exchange (minimum 10.000 CRO, deposited daily) and that then you get the Syndicate opportunity which lists 1-2 assets every month in the exchange with a 50% discount (which happens when you have at least locked the minimum CRO amount and higher locked amount you have, the higher amount of the new listing asset you can buy).
Crypto.com own digital assets
MCO: It is their main asset which used for staking to get the VISA and it is way undervalued at the moment.
CRO: This one is their second asset, which gives the higher interest rates, used in exchange for lowering the fees (like BNB) and gives you the Syndicate offers opportunity. For me is way undervalued too because there is a long way ahead for it and its huge supply is irrelevant cause i am sure that they have things in mind so the supply will become way less so the price can go really high.
Overview
I am using the app for a long time and always recommend it to people who want to start investing in digital assets for its many functionalities. Is it the best? Of cause, i cannot say that but it is way better than the most competitors and it is only its beginning.
