The Safest Form of Money

The Safest Form of Money

If Satoshi was dead he'd definitely roll in the grave right now, just by reading what the safest form of money shall be according to Christine Lagarde. It's not Bitcoin, nor Ethereum or Dogecoin. It's actually a digital Euro that we're talking about in here.

A Central bank digital currency, that's what's going to be the safest form of money. Why, you might ask? Because it's going to be issued and controlled by the central banks, which are actually under the tight control of the elites spinning the wheels of this world.

“It has been nine months since we published our report on a digital euro. In that time, we have carried out further analysis, sought input from citizens and professionals, and conducted some experiments, with encouraging results. All of this has led us to decide to move up a gear and start the digital euro project.”
-ECB President Christine Lagarde source

The actual report, made in October 2020, can be read here, in case anyone has any interest in reading such crap. I know I don't have it...

I love crypto and blockchain technology when used for the benefit of humanity. I love Hive and its use cases and I definitely love my privacy which so far hasn't been threatened by using cryptocurrencies, and I will definitely hate the digital euro.

Although I'm not living in the Euro zone and according to Lagarde, the digital euro would complement cash, not replace it, I am still not excited about it. CBDCs are rat poison and the end of any financial freedom we still have.

Cash and Bitcoin are my favorite. Cash is still their currency, not ours, but at least it provides a bit of privacy and it's still untraceable. Crypto goes far beyond that and it's pointless to underline why it's superior to cash.

The way I see it the digital euro will be implemented and enforced same as the covid restrictions and measures have been forced on us, whether we like it or not.

Reading the news regarding this "digital shit" that Lagarde has announced, the recent crackdown on Binance makes much more sense now. They want to control any on and off ramps for crypto we have and they'll definitely plan on making CBDCs the only world wide accepted currencies.

I really have no clue what can we do at this point to weaken the power governments and the bankers have on us, but I really hope cryptocurrencies will still have a chance, at least as alternative currencies. That depends a lot on us and how fast we move in terms of development.

The more merchants accepting crypto and adopting it as a currency and we integrate in businesses and all sort of online activities, the better. As long as it stays as a speculative asset it will be hard to compete with CBDCs.

Why do you think China has kicked out miners and everything crypto related out of the country right before launching its CBDCs?... Everything makes sense now.

Thanks for attention,
Adrian
