A review of human mentality and how to solve it's problems

WELCOME!

Those times we have ticking right now, are, in my opinion, cold and harsh times.

It is very likely you will start your day accompanied with worries and negative feelings.

Here is my advice for you.

Whether it is a good one or not, whether you will follow it or not, everyone is welcome to read it and make their own opinion from it!

"Why is this happening to me but not to them?"

We know the feeling.

Something bad happens to us and someone we aren't especially cool with is right in the area.

Usually we would think: "Why does this happen to me, but they are always so happy?"

We can gnaw on those thoughts for very long periods of time and it gets us stuck in a loop of a long depression and self-pity.

But did we ever try to get inside THEIR skin?

Maybe they have other problems, some worse, some not as bad as ours?

While you might have endless fights with your stomach, they might have social problems with parents, friends, etc.

Always try to think from both perspectives, even if it's hard!

"I am such a stupid, they are much better than me..."

Oh, I know this feeling very well!

You wake up and find yourself in the endless loop of... well... life...

We tend to compare ourselves to other individuals way too much, getting lost in those thoughts and dwelling on them.

Example:

"I am so bad at graphical design, why are they better than me? That's not fair!"

Now let's dive deep into the root cause.

Humanity is usually trying to compete with other individuals for dominance and hormonal self-satisfaction.

It's a natural INSTINCT also seen in animals.

How do we solve those negative thoughts?

It's very hard and you should practice it thoroughly... but here it comes!

Don't compare yourself to others, be yourself!

You are unique and good in your own ways!

Everyone has their goods and bads, if we weren't like that, we would be all the same and where would the fun in meeting new people be?

It's not egoistic if you think you are good in particular stuff, its egoistic if you do it while you compare yourself to others.

That said, let's move on to the other topics.

(Practice this thoroughly, though, it's NOT easy.)

The "Flow" of a conversation

Imagine you are in a conversation about something and the other party just doesn't let go about their topic...

I have done it, you probably did, lots of others did.

You are bored and annoyed at them.

In my opinion, conversations are like some sort of "Flow".

For a good conversation you will just have to go with the flow of it, to avoid complications.

Especially in quarrels, it's crucial to do so!

Example:

Mom: "You haven't cleaned your room yet, how many times do I have to tell you to do it? You will do so now!"

Me: "No!"

Mom: "Yes!"

Me: "NO!!"

Mom: "Do it!!!"

And so on and so forth...

You will either get a broken nose from doing so to the wrong people, OR be stuck in an endless loop of fighting.

Sometimes it's hard to let go of your "stand of ground".

Solution:

Mom: "You haven't cleaned your room yet, how many times do I have to tell you to do it? You will do so now!"

Me: "Okay mom, I will do so. Love you!"

Mom: "Thanks for making my life easier! Love you too."

If a flow goes into a certain direction, feel yourself into it and try to go into that direction, and you nailed the conversation!

Next!

Psychosomatic and Stress-induced body pain

Sometimes a body part hurts.

You think:

Why is that?

How could it happen?

Oh god, will I die now?

Am I alright?

etc. etc. etc.

Be aware, that stress makes pain even worse.

I, for example, have stomach pain.

Everytime I had it coming again and again, I thought those words to myself and only focused on the pain.

One day my mom told me:

"Stop thinking so much about it, youll feel alot better."

"Try not to dwell on the negative thoughts so much, try focusing on the good things, and most importantly, dont always think your stress will cause those problems, because if you do, you will only fuel the fire!"

And hugged me.

I immediately got a sense of realization and tried it.

Now everytime I feel that pain I think "Everything's alright, it's not there!"

And it WORKS for me!

It's some sort of "Phantom Pain", in my opinion.

Hopefully it works the same for you as it did for me.

Moving on to the next topic!

"Another day in this miserable life, I am tired of it..."

This one is also hard to practice, but totally doable!

You find yourself in the feedback loop of negative thoughts, start your day feeling depressed and repeat the whole story tommorow.

Now there is an easy in theory, hard to practice solution.

Think like this:

We think it's socially unacceptable to tell ourselves: "It's gonna be alright, I am good the way I am!"

We think it's totally ok to say: "You are bad, you've done X and Y and Z comes on top of that! Shame on you!"

My question is:

WHY?

It's not bad to feed yourself with positive feelings every morning, maybe even in front of the mirror.

Remember what I said about the earlier topic? Be yourself, listen to your inner voice!

If your friends accept the way you are, they won't think of you as a weirdo, but will be happy for you to finally break out of that loop!

That said, let's move on to the last topic.
