The BAT Token (Basic Attention Token), has faced difficulties in maintaining its price over the last few years.

Since 2021, the price of the token has decreased sharply from $1.92 to $0.14. This sharp decline is explained by the lack of interest in altcoins outside of bullruns but also by the fact that Brave (main player in BAT purchases) has been less greedy since 2021 for BAT purchases.

Despite the disappointing price performance, the token continues to deploy its ecosystem. The number of daily and monthly users continues on a stable growth curve. The number of users of Brave is indeed growing, even if it remains small compared to some of its competitors.

Where the numbers are lower, it is for the number of creators. Although it is increasing, this increase seems to be stagnating. Logical, since the number of creators is not infinite. However, we cannot speak of a massive adoption by content creators. YouTube is the largest community of BAT users. Twitter comes second to other platforms like Twitch.

The advertising distribution of Brave, which is the browser for BAT distribution, is very concentrated. The majority of campaigns are in the US, Great Britain, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, India, Mexico, Spain and the Netherlands. Other countries also have regular campaigns such as Argentina, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Brazil, Portugal, Austria, Sweden and Switzerland. Africa is not yet present in the ecosystem. Asia is still under-represented. This does not mean that there are no occasional campaigns, but simply that the number of advertising campaigns is extremely low.

It seems that Brave is buying less and less BAT despite their price. The main explanation is that Brave has a reserve in BAT. Unfortunately I could not find the exact statistics related to the detention of BAT by Brave. The distribution of BAT via browser also decreased slightly.

What are the price prospects for BAT? They depend mainly on the deployment of Brave around the world. Adding new features could also help Brave conquer the web. For several years the browser has indeed been equipped with many new features such as the integrated wallet, navigation data synchronization via seed, private browsing, AI search assistant (LEO),... The integration of web-like functionalities could also boost its growth. The fundamentals are therefore mainly to be checked on the side of Brave for BAT.
