My mind is blank, I can't think
What I want to say, I don't know,
My heart is cold, I can't feel
I want to write, but ink doesn't flow.
I have been struck hard
Why, oh, why, is it like this?
Did it happen now?
Is there something amiss?
Anyone who has the answer,
Clue me in, let me know,
If there's anything to change
Bad habits to throw.
Enveloped by the darkness
As I lay on my warm bed
Praying for better days to come
Or be labeled a dumbhead.
