Inspired by starthere's experiment of Tracking Top 10 Cryptocurrencies at the beginning of the year I decided to do a similar experiment with a somewhat different approach. I will instead buy an equal amount of all top 10 cryptos at the beginning of each month not selling of previous investments. This can (and will most likely) result in that I buy different currencies each month. I will simply use CoinGecko for reference at the beginning of the month and buy $10 each of the top 10 ones.
To avoid using multiple exchanges I did a quick comparison and it seems KuCoin is best choice. At least it was the only one in my comparison where I was able to buy all January currencies.
There's not much more I can tell you right now really except the list of assets worth (at that time) $10 each:
BTC - 0.00129786
ETH - 0.07312432
XRP - 48
USDT - 10.01043957
BCH - 0.04675299
LTC - 0.226
EOS - 3.67
BNB - 0.701
BSV - 0.0801
ADA - 278
Follow me or look out for the February update, with new investments and evaluation of the January portfolio!
Note: I just came up with this idea yesterday, meaning the January comparison is not since January 1st, but January 9th. This is also my first ever attempt of writing a blog or article. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions or ideas!
