When I showed them my Inktober drawings, my Wednesday night Zoom group loved the idea of writing from prompts, so we are doing a weekly prompt word. You saw my drawing for prompt word 'formal' last time, and tonight's prompt word was 'abrupt'. One of my friends drew a figure skate about to roll over a rock. Another friend, focusing on the aspect of the word about quickly changing directions, drew a surfer surfing out of a tubular wave. A third friend drew a woman in a kimono being flung backward by an arrow to her chest. Quite dramatic!
