Man ironing his clothes - colored pencil

Crease!

By DoctorPlatypus | Doctor Platypus | 9 Dec 2021

This week our prompt word was 'Crease'. In our group, one person drew the lines where you would fold a paper if you were making an origami crane, and she plans to draw an actual crane on the line-drawn paper. Another person drew a beautiful traditional Asian outfit with creased fabrics, and the figure is also older and has creases on his face. A third person drew a close-up on a pair of eyes, to illustrate the epicanthic fold.

I considered drawing a close up of a person's palm, to illustrate the creases in people's hands, but who am I kidding? Here's what I drew:

I'm trying to focus a little more on adding depth to faces, to make twisting torsos look like they are twisting, to make everything look a bit more three dimensional.

Next week's prompt is going to be 'eggplant' and I promise not to draw a giant penis. You're welcome :D
