MLB Season II on Sorare is also coming to an end. The World Series will see the Texas Rangers and the Arizona Diamondbacks compete. Both of these teams surprisingly beat the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies. Even though the last GW of the season is underway, I sold my cards relating to these two teams because I was not very competitive and had some deficiencies so I thought it would be more fruitful to sell A.Garcia (Rare), P.Sewald (Super Rare ), K.Marte (Rare), J.Mantiply (Rare), K.Ginkel (Rare), A.Heaney (Rare), N.Lowe (Limited), T.Pham (Limited), L.Tavares (Limited) , J. Montgomery (Limited and Rare). Hey, now that I think about it maybe I could have made a competitive team. However, I would have had to field in All Star Rare League or Sandlot because I would not have been able to field in Limited Pro or Rare Pro (which are the best competitions). In any case, when you get to the playoffs, if you have cards from the teams involved, you can make a lot of money because there is little supply and a lot of demand. Prices go up a lot. I sold rare cards at an average value 3-5 times higher than in the regular season.
REWARDS 2022 (MID SEASON)
I also include those from last season for comparison. In 2022 only half a season had been played on Sorare MLB because it started in July (the MLB season starts in April) and I had obtained good rewards:

The best card was obviously Corbin Carroll which I sold. Carroll is playing the World Series this year with Arizona!
REWARDS 2023 (FULL SEASON)
The 2023 season has been played in its entirety. If I had to rate my season I would give it 6,5/7. I have had many injuries on the roster especially among the rare cards. In general I almost always got a reward, it's just that the rewards weren't explosive, except in a few gameweeks. However, I made good profits by selling, not only the cards mentioned above in the playoffs but also making large capital gains with some limited ones (Semien, Seager, Olson). These are the rewards (2023):

The best gw was definitely the one where I came second in "rare pro" winning 0.131 ETH+Hoerner (Super Rare Card). Hoerner had a value of approximately 0.36 ETH (680$). I have won ETH other times (many times in Sandlot), however that peak (gw 8) has never been reached again.

PREPARATIONS AND TRADES FOR 2024
I'm participating in the last gw only with common (free) cards. My rewards season is probably over. However I have started buying rare cards for next season. I'm not investing any more money. I'm simply using the profits generated from rewards and card sales to strengthen the roster. Out of season prices drop so there are good deals around. I bought these rare cards for next season at excellent prices:

Next year I will have an even more competitive roster. Now I have negotiations underway, however I can be satisfied with the purchases. Now I'm participating in the NBA season, where I hope to win some rewards and sell most of the cards I purchased in the last 2 months at a profit. The goal is to accumulate as much ETH as possible. Sorare always adds new things to its gameplay, a few weeks ago the "collections" were also added for MLB and NBA and the "coins" (with which it is possible to buy boost, swap common cards and real merchandise). Furthermore, a section called "my club" where it is possible to set the name of your rosters (teams), build lists (perhaps with players for sale, even if not listed on the secondary market), as well as a summary table with all the competitions to which participated and rarity of prizes won.
I remind you that if you want to try Sorare, you can sign up here (after winning 7 Auctions for MLB or 5 for NBA or 5 for Football, you get a $20 discount on subsequent purchases): Sorare (Signing Up)
