You should follow these tips if you want to make it in the crypto world. Life-changing opportunities like BTC in 2010-2012, ETH in 2015, Shiba Inu in 2021, Pepe and Bonk in 2023 are rare. It's not easy to do 1000x. Ideally it is easier to do a 10x with more token but in any case you must consider investing capital of at least $1000 on multiple middle market cap projects. In any case, all this happens "on chain". If you use exchange you can do little. For safer and greater returns, look for the maximum confluence of independent elements into a single token. When the probability is low, risk management is your greatest friend. There are so many ways to make money in this industry.
