Just as I like to try different rhyme patterns with my previous five poems about cryptos, this time I wanted to write a Haiku, a type of Japanese poem that is written in verses of 5,7 and 5 syllables. At the end of the text I explain briefly the concepts I wanted to covered along the poem. Thanks in advance!

A decentralized token

Born in Singapore

This is the story

Of Justin Sun’s creation

Going to the moon

Written in Java

Supporting the smart contracts

Fueled by proof-of-stake

Three layer structure

Backing the architecture

Storage, Core and App

First from Ethereum

Then growing up by itself

Getting its own fame

Torrent related

Creating ecosystems

As fast as The Flash

Building the best DApps

Reaching pure level DeFi

NFTs are here

TRON is the blockchain

But tronix is the token

VERSES 1 & 2

If you are a cinemaddict, you may now about the TRON movie, not the modern one that was projected in 2010, but the 1982 original film. I wanted to make a reference that this token has more legacy, or a true legacy, instead of the sequel. This project was born in Singapore due to the well-known hate that China has towards cryptocurrency. Justin Sun was a smart boy that knew how to do his project. The typical moon reference to the cryptos is made here because TRX started as low as just fractions of a cent and now, while I am writing this is consolidated above the ten cents mark.

VERSES 3 & 4

Those 34-syllable statements are just a small summary of what’s behind the computational power of TRON, and I left behind the fact that it’s a Multilanguage protocol, even though Java is the main code, it enables Scala, C++, Python and Go as valid languages. The smart contracts are a module of the core layer, just to give a little example of that.

VERSES 5 & 6

As many people may know, TRON and its token TRX started at the Ethereum blockchain, and, as many people also know, Ethereum is quite of expensive because of the gas commission, so they migrated into their own ecosystem, the TRC-10 protocol, and achieved not only independence, but also cheaper transactions. From there the project started adding new tokens like the BTT or the SUN. BTT is an interesting case, because it is related with the acquisition of Rainberry, previously known as BitTorrent, the peer-to-peer file sharing company, you may know them for the development of μTorrent.

VERSES 7 & 8

Decentralized Apps (DApps) are one of the main attraction of TRON, having the Project Atlas, known as the biggest DApp in the world, launched in 2019. In addition, there is a large marketplace for the Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) based on TRON Network: NFTONE. Moreover, I wanted to finish the Haiku to clarify that the cryptocurrency’s name is Tronix, not Tron, just as the cryptocurrency of the Ethereum network is called just Ether.
