Will Ethereum Classic Thaw?

Ethereum Classic (ETC) has been around since the Ethereum hard fork in July of 2016. It has reached both high and low on the price chart from $2 to $45, and everywhere in between. Recently, Ethereum Classic has been making a comeback, and many people are wondering if it will be able to survive this crypto winter. Let’s look at Ethereum Classic’s past and see if we can predict its future!
Ethereum Classic was created when a hard fork occurred on the Ethereum blockchain. The hard fork resulted from a disagreement between the Ethereum community and the Ethereum Foundation. The Foundation wanted to change Ethereum’s code so that they could recover funds that had been stolen from The DAO. However, many members disagreed with this decision, so they created Ethereum Classic.
Since its creation, Ethereum Classic has had a rocky history. It reached its all-time high in January of 2018 but then crashed down to lows of under $20 by December 2018. Ethereum Classic has risen steadily since then, and is currently trading at around $23.

ETC saw a price decrease of 22% today. ETC is currently ranked 5th on Coinmarketcap with a market capitalization of $3,108,616,328. ETC reached its all-time high on January 13th,2018, when it was priced at $47.79. ETC 24 hour volume is currently 618,017 BTC or $8,378,457,114. ETC is down -48.86% in the last month and down about -84.71% since its ATH.
Only time will tell how long this crypto winter will last. ETC has been in a slump for the past few months, and many investors are wondering when the next bull run will begin. While it’s impossible to predict the future of the markets, there are some signs that the worst may be over.
Moreover, ETC is one of the few coins still profitable to mine. These factors suggest that ETC may be poised for a turnaround in the near future. Of course, only time will tell whether this crypto winter will thaw or continue to freeze ETC’s price.
So, will Ethereum Classic survive this crypto winter? It’s hard to say for sure. Ethereum Classic has been through a lot in its short history, and it has always managed to come out on top. Only time will tell if Ethereum Classic will be able to weather the storm and come out stronger than ever before!
