This week's Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge will focus on Community Tutorials and Tips. It's perfectly logical that the goal of this event is to share helpful insights and tips with the community, and this time, it's focused on that. The idea is to share your knowledge to help the community. Some suggestions include sharing details about deck creation, strategy, rewards, and more, through the creation of a tutorial.
So, with the suggestions and the challenge's focus in mind, we'll share some tips for Splinterlands players on how to get some free cards in this crypto game. We'll start by discussing why it's important to have more cards and make this pursuit one of your in-game goals. Next, we'll cover the first way to get FREE cards, which is through Foundation Cards, including campaign tutorials and battles in the new Frontier mode. Finally, we'll cover the reward cards obtained with the glint token in Gwen's Glint Shop. I believe a tutorial covering both methods simultaneously would be very useful for all players!
I'll be much appreaciated if youย Upvote,ย Reblogsย or give anyย Tipsย ( PIZZA ๐, PGM ๐ฎ, LOLZ ๐, ALIVE โค๏ธ, etc ). Thanks and have good reading! ๐

[ENGLISH VERSION]
The importance of having more cards!
ย
ย
Initially, it's important to understand the context of why having more cards is important within the Splinterlands universe. Without understanding, players won't have any real motivation to seek out methods to get more cards for FREE within the game.
Splinterlands is a card game where matches involve a lot of strategy. Each match is essentially unique, with a specific mana pool, an opponent with a specific number of cards and preferences, a different set of rules, and limitations on the available elements. In this sense, there's no single powerful card that fits all combinations. It could be a very powerful card but have a high mana pool, meaning you can't use it in low-mana matches. It could also be that the card is of a certain element and it's unavailable, or your unit might have an attack type that's not allowed due to a rule.
ย
ย
Thanks to the large number of combinations, cards that are good for certain specific situations emerge. Therefore, it's important for players to have more cards. This allows them to have a greater variety of cards to choose from during battle. This way, having a deck that's better prepared for all scenarios leads to a higher winrate and more rewards.
How to get Foundation Cards?
ย
ย
After discussing the reasons for having more cards, we'll look at how a beginner or low-resource player can start earning their first Foundation cards and, later, their first Reward Cards in the Glint Shop. For those just starting out in Splinterlands, this is a great time, as a campaign mode has been added. By completing some tutorials, you'll earn some cards from the Foundation collection. At the end, the player will have a complete basic deck with all the elements.
ย
ย
Along with the campaign mode, a new Ranked mode called Frontier has been added, which rewards players with cards daily after winning 5 matches and also by advancing through the leagues, earning chests. These are some cards from the Foundation set that you can collect to strengthen your deck.

Finally, after improving your Foundation card deck, it might be a good time to explore the other Ranked match modes. By winning matches in Modern or Wild, you'll earn a token called Glint, which can be used in Gwen's Glint Shop to purchase chests that have a chance of dropping cards or Draws that drop cards of a specific rarity.
