Lately, whenever a Splinterlands season ends, players start wondering: Will we have the survival event again? The answer usually comes after a day or two of the season already starting, which is a bit of a hassle because, with 250 matches, the best strategy is to play a certain number of games every day.
And a few days ago, Clayboyn posted a message in the survival-feedback chat answering this question once and for all. The bracket test event in survival mode will continue until the brackets arrive in Modern. Now you can prepare and set aside a few minutes of your day so you don't miss this opportunity to earn 250k Glint.
It's worth noting that this amount of 250k Glint is actually much higher when you consider all the rewards you get in Survival Mode. By completing 250 matches with a 50% win rate and filling out the feedback form, you're already guaranteed 250k, right? But along the way, you're very likely to reach the top of the leaderboard, which grants access to the Ascension Tournament, worth at least another 30k Glint.
Furthermore, you accumulate points with each victory to earn a share of the bracket's glint pool; generally, the higher the difficulty, the more glint the pool will have. You can expect around 10k more glint, plus the leaderboard glint which is also around 10k. How to Earn +300K Glint at Splinterlands Survival?
As I've mentioned in recent posts, in the last Splinterlands season I decided not to participate in Survival matches. However, upon reaching EOS and not seeing the large amount of glint that comes from participating in Survival, I only managed to upgrade 3 rare cards and 1 common card, nothing more, neither epic nor legendary...
Therefore, I decided not to miss this event again, since once the brackets arrive in Modern Mode we won't have this event and getting that amount of glint will take a long time. With that, the first step, choosing the bracket, has already been taken.
I thought it would have reset, but anyway I chose Bracket I, because it's easier to complete the matches. It may not seem like it, but 250 matches take quite a long time to finish, because there's the waiting time, the time to choose the cards, the time to go to the next match...
If I'm not mistaken, you can choose any of the human-only brackets from I to V, but as you can see, the lower-level brackets end up attracting a larger number of users because they are simpler to complete the initial matches.
The first game is already finished, now there are only 249 more games left lol. With about 9 days left, that's more than 27 games per day, which is quite complicated, but the first ones tend to be very quick so the number is more like 150 to 200...
