Winning is No More Enough

Lately, one way or the another, I'm always complaining about Splinterlands... I'm becoming a bit boring 😅

Besides, I complain a lot, but I still write two posts a week to participate in the Challenge, so I do a lot of talking, but I always end up on Splinterlands!

Anyway, to explain the meaning of the title of this post, and my little complaint - which, by the way, is not directed at the game for once - I cannot but point out that, even in the brawl that just ended, as in many others that have proceeded it, despite a very high number of victories achieved by our Guild, with very few defeats, even this time we have to settle for a modest fifth place.

This is not a result to be thrown away, but, having the second best wins/losses ratio in the whole standings, it seems to me that we can't even be jumping around with joy either... it's a pity, because what penalizes us is a slightly lower number of players than the other Guilds, a fact about which, currently, we can do very little, unless you, reader, are interested in joining a Guild... and have, perhaps, good skills on the game as well! 😎

Fifth place in any case always guarantees us a good number of rewards, with 1631 merits points and 14.259 SPS in stakes.

Brawl match by IlPobre - @ilpobre shows off a gorgeous Gold copy of Zyriel, an extremely rare legendary card, the mere sight of which upsets the opponent ranks, by the way unprepared to face a team that relies heavily on ranged attacks. Beautiful victory and great performance for the EDSF Guild player!

Brawl match by Road2Horizon - @road2horizon also chooses to engage his opponent from the distance, but deploys a tough tank in the front line, supported by various regenerative abilities: the result is a carnage, while his opponent cannot even scratch the defenses of @road2horizon's team.

Brawl match by Arc7icWolf - two mighty Usuts clash on the battlefield, but only one of them can emerge victorious: and thanks to the high attack potential of my front lines and a couple of well-timed kills, which trigger the bloodlust ability, it's my team that gets the victory!

Although winning, perhaps, is no longer enough to climb the rankings... we certainly have no intention of stopping and keep trying!

Vincere non è Più Abbastanza

Ultimamente, in un modo o nell'altro, sono sempre a lamentarmi di Splinterlands... sto diventando un po' troppo monotono 😅

Che, poi, alla fine, mi lamento tanto, ma due post a settimana per partecipare alla Challenge li scrivo comunque, per cui parlo tanto, ma gira e rigira sempre su Splinterlands finisco!

Comunque, per spiegare il senso del titolo di questo post, e la mia piccola lamentela - che, fra l'altro, per una volta non è diretta al gioco in sè per sè - non posso che sottolineare come, anche nella brawl appena conclusa, come in molte altre di quelle che l'hanno proceduta, nonostante un altissimo numero di vittorie ottenuto dalla nostra Gilda, accompagnate da pochissime sconfitte, anche stavolta dobbiamo accontentarci di un modesto quinto posto.

Non è un risultato da buttare via, ma, avendo il secondo miglior rapporto vittorie/sconfitte di tutta la classifica, mi sembra che comunque non possiamo nemmeno fare i salti di gioia... peccato, perchè a penalizzarci è un numero di giocatori un po' più basso delle altre Gilda, elemento sul quale, al momento, possiamo fare ben poco, a meno che tu, lettore di passaggio, non sia interessato ad entrare a far parte di una Gilda... e abbia, magari, anche delle buone abilità sul gioco! 😎

Il quinto posto in ogni caso ci garantisce sempre un buon numero di ricompense, con 1631 punti di merits e 14,259 SPS in stake.

Partita brawl di IlPobre - @ilpobre sfoggia una magnifica copia Gold di Zyriel, una carta leggendaria estremamente rara, la cui sola visione sconvolge i ranghi avversari, tra l'altro impreparati a fronteggiare un team che punta pesantemente sugli attacchi a distanza. Bellissima vittoria e grandissima prestazione per il giocatore della Gilda EDSF!

Partita brawl di Road2Horizon - anche @road2horizon sceglie di ingaggiare il suo avversario dalla distanza, schierando però in prima linea un tank coriaceo, supportato da varie abilità rigenerative: il risultato è un massacro ai danni dell'avversario, che non riesce nemmeno a scalfire le difese del team di @road2horizon.

Partita brawl di Arc7icWolf - due possenti Usut si scontrano sul campo di battaglia, ma solo uno dei due può uscirne vittorioso: e grazie all'alto potenziale d'attacco delle mie prime linee ed ad un paio di uccisioni al momento giusto, che innescano l'abilità bloodlust, è il mio team ad ottenere la vittoria!

Anche se vincere, forse, non è più sufficiente per scalare la classifica... noi certo non abbiamo intenzione di fermarci e continuare a provarci!
