Numbers Matter
After celebrating second place last week, this time we had to settle for much less.
Indeed, due to a lower than usual participation, we could not compete for particularly high positions, but had to stop at seventh place, despite the team's overall performance being good.
As for me, I have to say that I'm always happy when I manage to participate in a brawl, especially since they are now the only opportunity to play Splinterlands, having otherwise completely given up on ranked matches, which really were taking up too much of my time for rather modest gains.
In comparison to the second place, with the seventh the rewards distribute drop considerably, amounting to 950 merits points and 10,434 SPS in stakes.

Brawl match by Arc7icWolf - both my opponent and I opt for the same Summoner, the legendary Possibilus The Wise, taking advantage of his abilities to position Coastal Sentry in second position, in order to make the most of his double attack: the difference, however, is made by the creatures in the backlines, with my powerful archers leaving no chance for the enemy creatures.
Brawl match by Road2Horizon - @road2horizon fills the battleground with magical attacks, helped by the enhancement provided by the Summoner Delwin Dragonscale: the opponent was surely expecting a different team and was therefore completely unprepared to contain the assaults of the EDSF Guild player!
Brawl match by Occhiblu - @occhiblu deploys a team with a higher amount of health and takes full advantage of the martyr ability of the Venari Marksrat: thanks to these tricks he is able to limit the damage caused by the noxious fumes ruleset, while the opponent, having chosen all fragile creatures, gets his formation almost completely wiped out already at the end of the first turn.
After last time's second place, seventh was certainly disappointing: but we were less than usual and there was little we could do to avoid it.

Dopo aver celebrato il secondo posto della scorsa settimana, questa volta dobbiamo accontentarci di molto meno.
A causa di una partecipazione più bassa del solito, infatti, non abbiamo potuto competere per posizioni particolarmente elevate, ma ci siamo dovuto fermare al settimo posto, nonostante la prestazione complessiva della squadra sia stata buona.
Per quanto mi riguarda, devo dire di essere sempre contento quando riesco a partecipare ad una brawl, anche visto che, ormai, rappresentano l'unica occasione di gioco che dedico a Splinterlands, avendo per il resto completamente abbandonato le partite classificate, che mi richiedevano davvero troppo tempo a fronte di guadagni alquanto modesti.
Rispetto al secondo posto, con il settimo le ricompense distribuire calano notevolmente, ammontando a 950 punti di merits e 10,434 SPS in stake .
Proseguiamo poi con l'elenco dei valorosi che hanno partecipato alla brawl:

Partita brawl di Arc7icWolf - sia io che il mio avversario optiamo per lo stesso Evocatore, il leggendario Possibilus The Wise, sfruttando le sue abilità per posizione in seconda posizione Coastal Sentry, in da poter sfruttare il suo doppio attacco al meglio: la differenza la fanno però le creature in seconda linea, con i miei potenti arceri che non lasciano scampo alle creature nemiche.
Partita brawl di Road2Horizon - @road2horizon inonda il campo di battaglia di attacchi magici, grazie anche al potenziamento fornito dall'Evocatore Delwin Dragonscale: l'avversario si aspettava sicuramente un team diverso e risulta perciò completamente impreparato a contenere gli assalti del giocatore della Gilda EDSF!
Partita brawl di Occhiblu - @occhiblu schiera un team dotato di vita più alta e sfrutta al meglio l'abilità martyr del Venari Marksrat: grazie a questi accorgimenti riesce a contenere i danni causati dal ruleset noxious fumes, mentre l'avversario, avendo scelto tutte creature fragili, vede la propria formazione devastata già al termine del primo turno.
Dopo il secondo posto dell'altra volta, il settimo sicuramente risulta deludente: ma eravamo meno del solito e c'era quindi poco che potessimo fare per evitarlo.
