Almost an Year of Brawls with the EDSF Guild

A little more than a year ago my adventure in the EDSF Guild began: officially I have to say that the exact anniversary is still twenty days away, but while I was getting ready to write this post - and since I was running out of topics, since I still haven't understood if the long-awaited banning of bots from Modern Format has come into force or not... - I thought that maybe now was a good time to commemorate this event, also because I'm not sure if I'll remember it by mid-August 😂

And what can I say except that, almost a year later, I cannot but be happy with the choice I made at the time, joining this group which, over the months, I have come to know and appreciate more and more: I'm not going to list the names (because in these situations it always happens that you forget to include some of them, and that's a mistake I definitely want to avoid), but I can at least say that in that time I have really got to know a lot of people, with whom I have forged bonds and with whom I now speak - write - I won't say daily, but at least weekly!

The only regret I have to date is that I didn't manage to get to know all the members of the guild, but, due to a general decline in interest in Splinterlands, some of them are no longer active and others, though still active, don't seem to hang around Hive (or maybe they don't hang around my posts? 😭😂).

The fact is, as much as Splinterlands doesn't entertain me as much as it used to, I'm still looking forward to a new year in this guild and on Hive itself in general, to find what other achievements and accomplishments will be possible!

Looking instead at the brawl - that would be what I should be talking about, but every now and then I have to digress a bit! - there is no particular news to report: good fifth position and 1406 merits points and 13,810 staked SPS for everyone.

Brawl match by LibertyCrypto27 - Byzantine Kitty leads the forces of @libertycrypto27 who - back from a refreshing holiday - gets first place and 6 wins out of 6 matches played! Great performance for the Guild Co-Leader.

Brawl match by Arc7icWolf - Attack and defence become meaningless when the opponents can't even hit you: focusing on speed proves to be the perfect choice for this match and allows my team to emerge victorious from the clash!

Brawl match by Road2Horizon - @road2horizon hardly ever misses a podium, managing to place in the top three this time as well: his team can rely on the strength of the Doctor Blight, but this is only one of the many problems faced by his opponent, whose defences are bent almost effortlessly.

And after almost a year in this Guild, I end as always with our motto: because, before everything, the successes, defeats and achievements of each one, we are a team!

Quasi un Anno Intero di Brawls con la Gilda EDSF

Poco più di un anno fa iniziava la mia avventura nella Gilda EDSF: tecnicamente credo manchino ancora una ventina di giorni all'anniversario preciso, ma mentre mi preparavo a scrivere questo post - e dato che ero a corto di argomenti, visto che il tanto atteso ban dei bot dal Modern Format non ho ancora capito se è entrato in vigore oppure no... - ho pensato che forse già adesso era un buon momento per ricordare questo evento, anche perchè vai a sapere se poi a metà Agosto me ne ricorderò 😂

Per cui che dire se non che, a quasi un anno di distanza, non posso che essere contento della decisione che presi all'epoca, entrando a far parte di questo gruppo che, nei mesi, ho imparato a conoscere ed apprezzare sempre più: non sto a elencare i nomi (perchè in questi casi capita sempre di dimenticarsi di inserirne qualcuno, ed è un errore che voglio assolutamente evitare), ma posso quantomeno dire che in questo arco di tempo ho conosciuto davvero tante persone, con cui ho stretto dei legami e con cui ormai parlo - scrivo - non dico quotidianamente, però almeno settimanalmente sì!

L'unico rimpianto che ad oggi ho è quello di non essere riuscito a conoscere tutti i membri della Gilda, ma, complice un calo di interesse generale verso Splinterlands, alcuni di questi non sono praticamente più attivi ed altri, seppur ancora attivi, non sembrano frequentare Hive (o forse non frequentano i miei post? 😭😂).

Fatto sta che, per quanto Splinterlands non mi diverta più come un tempo, non vedo comunque l'ora di affrontare un nuovo anno in questa Gilda e su Hive in generale, così da scoprire quali altri traguardi e risultati sarà possibile raggiungere!

Passando invece alla brawl - che poi sarebbe quello di cui dovrei parlare, ma ogni tanto dovrò pur divagare un po'! - non c'è nessuna novità particolare da segnalare: buona quinta posizione e 1406 punti di merits e 13,810 SPS in stake per tutti quanti.

Partita brawl di LibertyCrypto27 - Byzantine Kitty guida le forze di @libertycrypto27 che - di ritorno da una vacanza ristoratrice - ottiene prima posizione e 6 vittorie su 6 partite disputate! Grandissima prestazione per il Co-Leader della Gilda.

Partita brawl di Arc7icWolf - attacco e difesa perdono di importanza quando gli avversari non riescono nemmeno a colpirti: puntare sulla velocità si rivela la scelta perfetta per questo match e consente alla mia squadra di uscire vittoriosa dalla scontro!

Partita brawl di Road2Horizon - @road2horizon non perde praticamente mai un podio, riuscendo anche stavolta a piazzarsi tra i primi tre: il suo team può contare sulla potenza del Doctor Blight, ma questo è solo uno dei tanti problemi che si trova a dover fronteggiare l'avversario, le cui difese vengono piegate praticamente senza sforzo.

E dopo quasi un anno in questa Gilda, concludo come sempre con il nostro motto: perchè, prima di tutto, dei successi, delle sconfitte e dei risultati dei singoli, siamo una squadra!
