Olderfall has its own page in our games catalog, and you can compare it with every other title in our ranked list of crypto games.

What you earn and how: Olderfall is free-to-play with optional purchases: every new player gets one free Fallen, and the FAQ says rewards come from PvP battles, tournaments and upgrading characters. The docs list Deathmatch duels as rewarding Vitrium and experience, Flex Tournaments as offering rare NFT prizes, and Ranked Tournaments, still a work in progress, as tied to Prestige and $AURE. The game’s token is listed as wAURE on aure.olderfall.com as of 2026-11-05. Entry to the most prestigious arenas requires a tournament ticket. Crafting resources (Iron, Leather, Silk) are farmed in themed Battle Towers.

How we researched this review

This is a research-based review, not a play log: nobody on our team claims hours in Olderfall here. We read our catalog entry, 1 official page, the whitepaper and docs, the official gameplay guides and store listings, 4 forum or blog pages, the public Discord and X channels, the official marketplace and getting-started guide, the official update history and news coverage, token market data, team, funding and audit records (read on 2026-11-05). Every price, count and size in this review carries the date of its own reading where the source gives one. Forum posts, community chats and docs pages often carry no date: those sources are undated, and each one is linked where we use it so you can check it yourself.

What is Olderfall?

Olderfall is a live, free-to-play auto-battler. You play a Gladiator Master who sends NFT warriors called Fallen into PvP and PvE fights, in a browser at play.olderfall.com or in the Android app, and the game is also listed on the App Store. It runs on Arbitrum One and Polygon, and Season 1 launched on Polygon. As of November 5, 2026, the game’s token is wAURE.

Anubika develops and publishes Olderfall. Anubika is a blockchain and game studio with over six years of experience making digital products, three of them in Web3. CEO Mariano Barci, CTO Martín Goya and COO Leandro Becka lead it.

In Olderfall you recruit, train and equip a squad and choose where it fights. Each battle then plays out on its own, so your decisions are team composition and gear, with no real-time input. Each new account starts with one free Fallen and no wallet, and you can manage up to three gladiators at a time. Every battle adds to a long-term progression loop of new systems, rewards and competitive play.

In Olderfall, gladiators, equipment, cosmetics and trinkets are NFTs, progression is recorded onchain, and players earn rewards by competing in PvP battles and tournaments. Open Alpha launched in Q1 2025 and the mobile release followed in Q3 2025. The whitepaper is at version 0.6.0, last updated in November 2025.

Gameplay experience

Olderfall plays as a short loop of preparation and review: you gear a Fallen, pick a rival, watch a brief side-view auto-fight, then read a detailed stat breakdown before choosing the next opponent. The documentation describes the loop as a way to train your Fallen, choose where to fight and adapt your strategy as challenges grow harder, and every battle adds to long-term progress.

How a match plays

A session starts in a side-view hub town with an arena building, a tower, shops and a red tent, and icon menus run down both sides of the screen. The village also has market stalls, a forge, anvils, campfires and a stone gatehouse with a glowing fiery doorway.

Before a fight, the character screen puts your selected fighter card in the centre, with weapon and armor slots on the left. The right-hand panel lists name, level, experience and basic stats such as strength and agility, plus rows of defensive stats. Weapons come in Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary rarities and carry level requirements.

To start a Deathmatch you pick one of three opponent cards, each with a portrait, stats and a battle button underneath. The fight plays out on a grassy field in front of a stone castle, with armored spear guards at both edges and name tags and health bars along the top. Chibi-style warriors swing hammers and blades and leap at each other, and hits throw up floating damage numbers, red slash effects and white impact flashes.

When the fight ends, a summary panel compares both fighters’ damage, crits, multi-hits, dodges and mitigation. Buttons let you return or watch a replay, and another rival selection follows.

Modes

Your job as Master is to decide when to risk your Fallen in Deathmatches, Towers or Tournaments.

  • Deathmatch is made of one-on-one duels built for training and steady progression, and they reward experience.

  • Quick Play runs lightning-fast tournaments with immediate brackets as a rotating weekly event.

  • Flex Tournaments are competitive brackets open to players of all levels.

  • Ranked Tournaments are still a work in progress and are tied to Prestige.

  • N3MUS Battles are weekly tournaments powered by Moonbeam.

  • Guilds appear in a list with crests, member counts and an apply button. They level up on XP from members’ wins in Death Matches, Battle Tower and other modes, and a guild bank, perks and a shop are in development.

The Battle Tower is the PvE climb, where each ascent brings increasingly dangerous enemies and shifting challenges. The Battle Tower is the primary source of Vitrium and the only source of Forge resources, and the rare endgame gear waits at the top. The towers rotate by theme: The Woods yields Leather from feral enemies, Mana Rise yields Silk from magical foes, and Blessed Citadel’s crusaders and paladins guard Iron.

Progression and difficulty

In the Forge, crafted armor carries real combat stats and is visible on your fighter in battle. Next to the forge are the alchemist and newer profession stations, which earn station XP as you complete sessions.

Daily and monthly quest lists show a progress bar and a claim button on each entry. A daily-missions panel leads to a treasure vault with a prize wheel that runs on tickets. Quests are the quickest way for free players to progress.

Olderfall aims at two audiences: casual players who can pick it up instantly and power users who go deep into strategy, ownership and progression. Competitive players can also climb an MMR leaderboard.

Getting started

You can play in a browser at play.olderfall.com with nothing to install, download the free Android app from Google Play or the free iOS app from the App Store, or launch it from Immutable Play. Sign-in supports social login. The first steps are to create an account, claim your free Fallen, train it in the Chambers, and clear Battle Tower floors for gear before moving into Death Matches.

Buying is optional. As of November 5, 2026, floor prices on market.olderfall.com put the cheapest Fallens (the Moon, Sun, Elf, Vampire and Nova collections) at 3 USDC each and the main Olderfall Fallens collection at 25 USDT. The most prestigious arenas need a tournament ticket.

Graphics, art and sound

Olderfall has hand-drawn cartoon fantasy art with a dark, gothic side. Its fights play out in side view, in saturated greens, blues and earthy browns. Because the art changes with what you equip, gear choices also change how your fighters look.

Art style and world

The standard battle arena is a grassy valley with a stone castle and red banners behind the fighters. Other settings are darker: character art places fighters in a moonlit graveyard and a gloomy hall.

Teaser art for new Fallens leans further into the gothic side. It shows undead-looking fighters, an axe-wielding warrior facing a hooded skeleton, and an arena gate shaped like a jack-o’-lantern. The art for the Moon Courting battle pass shows dark-haired female fighters in tribal outfits.

Characters and animation

Fighters are drawn in chibi proportions, with oversized heads and bandaged arms on the brawlers. The roster ranges from a wolf-like beast and a pink-haired goblin warrior to an armored knight and a red-haired fighter.

Gear shows on the fighter model. Each armor piece has real combat stats and is fully visible in battle, so players pick both performance and appearance when they equip it.

Interface and menus

The main screen gathers your player name, your currency and energy counters, and buttons for the current season and the game modes.

A versus splash screen opens each fight. During the fight, every fighter has a name bar, a health counter and a level label. A speed button lets you run the automatic battle faster, and it is the main way you interact with the battle screen.

Economy and earning reality

Olderfall pays out through seasons and competition. You earn by climbing a battle pass and a leaderboard, and the free starter Fallen is enough to take part. Players earn rewards through PvP battles and tournaments and by upgrading their characters.

Where rewards come from

Each season has a battle pass with a free track and a premium track. You level it with XP from Deathmatches, the Battle Tower and tournaments, and its exclusive rewards include the Romance Blade.

In season 6, the top 500 players on the leaderboard shared the rewards, so you didn’t need to finish first to receive something. Claiming gems in the game adds a large boost to your leaderboard score.

Quests on Immutable Play give extra rewards. The limited Werewolf and Zombie Fallen come from the shop, the weekend premium spin wheel or monthly exclusive quests. A limited Fallen you win has a listed resale price, though floors move.

An AURE community round was planned for Q1 2026 and a token generation event for Q2 2026 and beyond.

Costs and sinks

Armor crafting uses Iron, Leather and Silk farmed in themed Battle Towers. Weapon merge and burn mechanics were planned for Q1 2026.

Spending is optional. Paid NFTs and enhancements mainly speed up progress and don’t give a direct competitive edge, so spending saves time but doesn’t decide matches.

Team, funding and whitepaper

Olderfall is made by Anubika, a studio you can name and look up.

Anubika’s pitch for trust rests on order of work. The studio says its team spent two years making the game playable and fun before considering any commercial release, and the FAQ contrasts this with Web3 projects that sell first and develop later.

By Anubika’s account, the game was already playable when it asked for money. The two-year build time is the studio’s own statement, published on its official docs pages.

Olderfall’s biggest community is on Discord, and it is much bigger than its X following. The official Discord server had 11,771 members as of November 6, 2026, with 623 of them online when it was read, or 3.3%. That online share was a single snapshot, but it shows that only a small part of the membership was active at that moment. On the same date the @olderfall X account had 8,076 followers, about two thirds of the Discord count.

Most of the public news about the game comes from its publishing partners. As we reported in March 2026, Immutable co-founder Robbie Ferguson said the Polygon Hub was live and named Olderfall as one of its featured titles.

Olderfall’s own updates follow a seasonal schedule. The game is in active development and adds new features each season. As our report from April 2026 covered, the Immutable team announced on X that Season 4: Reforge & Conquer was live on Immutable Play.

The Google Play listing carries a PEGI 18 rating with a Cash Rewards notice, and it describes the AURE token as coming soon, covering tournament entries, crafting and betting.

Roadmap and current status

Olderfall is live: as of November 6, 2026, Anubika is still putting out new seasons, events and paid leaderboards, and Olderfall was #50 on our ranked list of crypto games. It runs on Arbitrum One and Polygon, in the browser and on Android. The game had 10 dated updates and news items in the 12 months to November 5, 2026, which is close to one a month.

Olderfall is Anubika’s only game. The studio’s portfolio also lists Luckro, a tokenization platform for wholesalers, and a real estate tokenization project.

What shipped in the last 12 months

Season 1 went live on Polygon by November 7, 2025, with a 60-day Battle Pass. In January 2026, egamers.io reported that N3MUS had started weekly tournaments on January 7, each with a 500 USDC prize pool shared by the top 40.

On March 16, 2026, Olderfall joined Immutable Play. It is featured in Gaming on Polygon, the hub Immutable built with Polygon Labs. A leaderboard ran from May 1 to May 31 with a 100,000 wAURE pool, and Anubika held a community round for wAURE in early June 2026.

New Olderfall seasons kept coming through 2026. “Auric Dominion” began June 1, 2026, and Season 6, “A Matter of Instinct”, started July 31, 2026, with the Blackfang Recurve as its exclusive Battle Pass weapon. On November 5, 2026, egamers.io reported that Season VII was still running alongside the Restless Month event, which adds zombie and werewolf Fallens.

Roadmap against delivery

Most of Anubika’s 2025 plan shipped. The studio scheduled a mobile release, a 60-day seasonal Battle Pass and the first phase of the Forge for the second half of 2025, and all three are in the game.

The roadmap’s Q1 2026 list ran late. The AURE community round planned for that quarter took place in June, and guild points already count toward Immutable Hunt scores. The token generation event, Guild Wars, World Bosses and the Pet System were planned for Q2 2026 and later. Pets are still tagged as work in progress.

Risks

The biggest risk in Olderfall is the money layer it is adding to the game. The AURE token hasn’t launched yet, and the store page already advertises cash rewards and betting. The Google Play listing carries a PEGI 18 rating and a Cash Rewards notice. AURE is announced as coming soon to power tournament entries, crafting and betting. Because the token doesn’t trade yet, it has no price history, so nobody can see how its supply will affect the rewards and entry fees it is meant to run.

The PEGI 18 rating and the betting plans make Olderfall an adults-only game. Before you put money into tournaments, check whether paid betting features are allowed where you live.

Olderfall also depends on its partners. Its home chain is Arbitrum One, and it reaches many players through Immutable Play and the Gaming on Polygon hub inside it, as announced in a PR Newswire release. If one of those partners changes its terms, Olderfall’s reach changes with it.

The NFT market is thin, and floor prices move. Crafting rules, rewards and the value of your gear can all shift from one season to the next.

Olderfall alternatives

Comparable games on our ranked list: Illuvium, Illuvium Overworld and Zeeverse. Olderfall sits at #50. Each one’s page has its genre, chain, token and current status side by side with this one.

Verdict: is Olderfall worth your time?

Olderfall is worth your time if you want a free auto-battler for your phone or browser that its studio keeps adding to. If you’re mainly after income, it’s a weaker pick. The paid rewards go to players near the top of seasonal leaderboards, and the AURE token hasn’t launched yet.

Who it suits

Olderfall suits players who want a game that changes from season to season. On November 5, 2026, egamers.io reported that Anubika had started Restless Month, an event that adds zombie and werewolf Fallens, with Ranked Battles Season 1 up next.

Olderfall also suits players who won’t spend anything. If you play free, quests are the fastest way to progress, and Olderfall quests on Immutable Play give extra rewards.

Who should skip it

Skip Olderfall if you want to control your fighters during a battle. Skip it too if the store page’s cash-rewards label is the reason you’re interested. The Immutable Hunt, which egamers.io covered, split its wAURE pool among the top 500 finishers only, so most of the money went to players who could keep up the pace.

Olderfall has very few public reviews.

What would move the score

Ranked Tournaments are still a work in progress, tied to Prestige and AURE rewards. If ranked play launches with clear rules, the score goes up.

AURE is due to power tournament entries, crafting and betting. If betting ends up at the centre of the game, or the monthly seasons stop coming, the score goes down.
