The Weirdest Bitcoiner Idea of Today

The Weirdest Bitcoiner Idea of Today

By Jelly Fish | cryptofun | 18 Dec 2020

Today Bitcoin is pumping, and the pump is blowing minds away! All shills, influencers, and hedge-funders are on deck baking one freak idea after another at the speed of light. This morning I ran across an article about establishing something like a state-owned Bitcoin fund. And not simply a "state-owned", but the US-owned one!

Well, it's understandable why Mr. Rochard might be kinda worried about a possible sell-off of $1.6B of BTC. So worried as to propose "amendments" to a 230-years-old law!

After the usual bitcoiner bullshit about "limited supply" and so on, Mr. Rochard made a truly outstanding statement:

If the U.S. wants to maintain its leadership, both financially and also in science and technology, then we should develop a Bitcoin reserve fund at the federal level.

A large strategic reserve of bitcoin may be crucial for our national security.

Holy shit...

However, Mrs. Lummis might well put the idea forward. A very handy idea for the next pump, actually.
