Finally, I've got a free Splinterlands Starter Pack promo code!

Yup, I finally got it from GrowYourBase.co website, my sweet gift for all the handjob I've done! (However, along the way I've learned quite a bit about NFTs.)

Now at Splinterlands I can participate in ranked battles, receive loot chests, cards, potions, DECs and everything.

Actually, I'm not a big fan of this kind of PC games. I would prefer some dumb multiplayer FPS like TF2 or Quake Online. But with Splinterlands it's possible to build a cards collection that over time might have some monetary value in the gamers community. At the marketplace I see that e.g. a gold legendary Lord Arianthus is rated at $125 -- quite a decent price for some queer digital thing!

So I decided to invest a bit of my time into collecting Splinterlands cards, in the hope that in 10-15 years they make me a billionaire for free. Remember CryptoKitties!

Unfortunately, I don't yet know a good card collecting strategy... Gold Lord Arianthus is out of print and can only be bought at the OTC market, but at the moment I'm not ready to put any money in the game. My future collection is pretty much limited with loot chests and DEC earnings...

Anyway, I simply can't leave my free Splinterlands Started Pack unused after all what I've done to get it!
