How to earn a bit extra with autofaucets and Faucethub

By Jelly Fish | cryptofun | 23 Oct 2019

If you do crypto faucets, at the end of the day you will almost inevitably set up an account at Faucethub.io

Faucethub is a crypto-micro-payments aggregator, a very useful thing to collect pennies from various faucets into a single place. In other words, if a faucet works with Faucethub -- it usually has a very low minimum payout (sometimes as low as 1-2 btc sats) which can be withdrawn to a Faucethub account, normally with no fee. In this post I will not discuss how to set a Faucethub account, it's a rather straightforward task. Now I want to show a little Faucethub trick that can make you some extra pennies.

When you log into your Faucethub account, at the left side you see a chat window:

Note the red umbrella below the chat (I marked it with a red circle). If you hover your mouse over it, you will see a note:

Every hour 50% of the Rainpool is split over 5 rains to 15-120 lucky users. To become eligible for rain, you must be chatting and making faucet claims. A green icon means you are eligible.

Well, yes, it's just an ordinary money rain, a lottery of a kind. When the umbrella icon is green -- it means you're in. The rain sends random amounts of random coins, not only BTC. Besides, users can also make their own rains (faucet owners often do). What you have to do is to regularly participate in the chat and to make regular claims (payments inflows) to your Faucethub account -- and thus to keep the umbrella happily green.

So what's the point, you might ask. The point is that regular claims and chatting take time -- the very time you might spend on other faucets, even not Faucethub-related ones. The Faucethub rains should be automated somehow.

Chatting can hardly be automated that much without a special chatbot. Besides, the chat mods are not idiots, and if you start posting random shit just to be in the rain -- you will be banned pretty soon. I simply tip a small amount of some altcoin to the rainpool every 10-15 minutes or so, it doesn't hassle anyone while keeps me in the game. Fortunately, copypasting a "/tip rainmaster 555 BTX" takes seconds and doesn't require solving captchas and clicking ads.

Automating faucet claims is a bit easier. I used to know a DOGE faucet that once started could run for hours without my attention, sending doge pennies every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, this faucet is dead now. Currently, I use two autofaucets -- Autoclaim.in and Autofaucet.org

Let's look at Autofaucet.org

Select Autoclaim, then Pay instantly to Faucethub, then select payment frequency and session time, then select the coin you want to claim, enter your Faucethub address for that coin, solve the captcha -- and the faucet will run at autopilot!

For our purpose, a one hour session time is the best -- during the next hour you only need to be in the chat from time to time, as I told above. Besides, you can open the same site in another tab, choose another coin and make one more claim stream, and so on. Even better if you know another Faucethub faucet that can run on autopilot longer.

Well, what can be the payout? It depends. Sometimes I get only some Hora pennies, I spend them back tipping the rainmaster. Sometimes I get as much as thousands of BTC sats (the biggest was about 6000, as far as I can remember). But it's usually better to get at least something than nothing at all.
