Is AI Quietly Replacing the Internet We Grew Up With?

The web was just a few years ago human.

Forums were active. Blogs had personality. Reddit threads seemed to be more like real conversations. You've looked for answers and found sites created by special people with a special passion. But now?

Most people are not aware that AI is changing quite a bit more rapidly than they think.

Not only by creating images or assisting students in composing assignments, but by gradually changing the information's production process, consumption process and monetization process.

A rise in AI-generated content.An increase in AI-generated content.

In fact, numerous articles on the internet are now created, at least in part, with the assistance of an AI.

News summaries. Crypto analysis. Product reviews. Even YouTube scripts.

The scary part? This is not an issue for most people anymore.

While AI uncorks productivity leaps, it also presents an intriguing issue,

The more people can create content on-the-fly, the less original it will be.

AI "entraining" on AI-generated content can create an endless loop of rehashed information on the online platform.

This is the “Dead Internet Theory 2.0” — it's not that humans are going away, it's that original human artistry is being drowned out by “algorithmic noise.”

Cryptocurrency is driving this change. This shift is being driven by the crypto.

Now, a combination of Blockchain and AI is happening for an insane speed.

Projects are in the works of implementing AI agents in:

Trading decisions
Automated customer support
Smart contract analysis
Social media management
Even when the crypto wallet is used independently.

Represent a set of wallets capable of:

Analyze market sentiment
Move funds automatically
Stake assets
Hunt airdrops
Engage with DeFi protocols.Connect with DeFi protocols.

All without human input.

Sounds futuristic?

There are several projects that are already testing just this.

However, Here's the Larger Question…

In the event that AI will create:

The content we read
The videos we watch
The trades we make
The code we use

What is important then if not that?

The answer is quite likely as simple as,

Human trust.

Where in many aspects of life we are overrun by AI-generated copies, humans might start appreciating:

Real communities
Transparent creators
Authentic experiences
Human insight
Genuine storytelling

Surprisingly, AI could actually enhance the worth of people.Ridiculously, AI could make humans even more valuable on the internet.

The Attractive Economy is on the rise.

Platforms have been battling for clicks for years.

They're competing now for retention.

AI recommender systems are already aware of the following:

The motivation behind continuing to read/read more. Why users keep scrolling.
What are the “motivations” that lead to engagement? What feelings lead to engagement?
Do the headlines grab the reader's attention?

That's why the contemporary content is more appealing than ever.

There's one thing they all want and it's crypto influencers, AI startup and technology companies are all bidding for it.

Your attention.

And attention is a digital asset more valuable than ever.

Final Thoughts

AI is not “some day.”AI is not “some day.”

It is already undergoing change:

The internet
Crypto
Jobs
Creativity
Education
Online identity

But it is possible that the “real winners” are not the ones that block out any AI at all…

But the people who know how to use it, and who don't lose their originality.

In the future, real-life people might be scarcer than technology is.

Crypto Stuff Im Trying to Learn
Crypto Stuff Im Trying to Learn

I still have a lot to learn about cryptocurrencies because I've only recently started. On my blog, I share my learnings on everything from wallets and coins to seemingly strange subjects that make sense after a few tries. It's not advice; it's just my honest observations as I try to understand how this whole thing works. And perhaps profit from exchanging meme coins along this entire process.
