So this is Christmas And what have you done Another year over And a new one just begun And so this is Christmas I hope you have fun The near and the dear one The old and the young
Introduction
Although we are already on the first days of 2025, January Blues are already here, so better late than never I have decided to renew my end-of-year Publish0x tradition by publishing a review of my 2024 articles doing a personal review and a reflection of my writings on this platform. Although it was another busy year working too much because I don't expect to become rich from my crypto-activities (trust me even rich people need to work), I managed to write quite few articles, when I had the necessary inspiration of doing so, only when I felt that I have something important to share and express on the Publish0x crypto-community. Sometimes my articles proved to be extremely popular and attractive within the Publish0x community especially when they deal with hot crypto subjects, such as crypto, bitcoin or financial investments (I don't write articles about financial investments), some others especially the ones belonging to my "Path to Wisdom" blog they proved to be completely unpopular and unattractive because they were irrelevant with crypto and money and the s-called financial freedom dream. And above everything I am not interested to make a review for boasting and showing off my earnings from the tips. Who cares about my earnings and tips after all? And certainly I am not interested to make a review of the most important crypto news and developments of 2024. I prefer to focus on my personal accomplishments and reflect on them.
And one of the big personal accomplishment for which I didn't manage to express it through an article during the previous year, is the fact that I manage to recover my Binance account that it was trapped into a UK account without having access to the most profitable Binance Earn and Launchpool products according to my article "The Binance Redemption". And that happened after verifying my account as an EU account.
Nevertheless, this article can be also served as a guide of my 2024 articles and through the links that I have included, you may revisit them, study them and those you haven't done so you can tip them or re-tip them again as you can tip each article twice and earn the tip provided by the platform.
A Review of my 2024 Publish0x Articles
Unfortunately, again it was a year that started in a wrong way after a bad experience with Scribd when I had to make an autorenewal of a forgotten subscription of their service. So, with my article "My Experience with Scribd." I felt that I should share my bad experience with the Publish0x so you won't fall in the same trap set from these kind of web companies that manipulate their users .
During the closing months of 2023, Play-To-Earn mining simulators appeared to be extremely popular with several websites emerging on the web, driven mostly from the need of "cryptomining" without the need of expensive computing equipment. So, with my article with title "My Top Play-to-Earn Mining Simulators" I presented the most popular of these Play-to-Earn websites simulating crypto-mining while playing to relax that could help the average crypto-enthusiast to earn some extra crypto without investing FIAT money in futile stressful crypto-trading.
Another bad experience that I had during 2024 it was with a crypto-wallet that I was tempted to transfer few of my cryptofunds and earnings in my attempt to earn some decent interest of my idle funds after a UK regulation that prevented me of doing so in my Binance account. You can read more details about that on my article "The Binance Redemption". Again with my article with title "When It Starts Smelling Badly" I wanted to share my bad experience to inform Publish0x readers about the REAL policies and operations of dishonest, grey-shaded and manipulative custodial crypto-wallets.
After a long break that lasted 8 months due to job obligations, October 2024 was the month again that I returned back to my writing habits. This time with an article about my main online crypto-activities during that break that kept me alive on the crypto-world. The Play2Earn corner of the crypto ecosystem was very busy during my busy summer 2024 so I decided to "Revisit" my initial article since the previous January with title "My Top Play-to-Earn Mining Simulators" and in my article "My Top Play-to-Earn Mining Simulators Revisited" I narrated the latest developments there updating my initial article. Watch this busy space, more updates might emerge in 2025.
With my article "Please Help me Recover my article" i narrate the bad luck that hit me again. This time I was trying to modify my article "My Top Play-to-Earn Mining Simulators Revisited" when a glitch on my mouse and keyboard made me erase by accident the whole article without having a backup or a second draft. Writing the article from the beginning appeared to me like a huge burden and immediately tried to find a way to recover it with a more efficient way. Unfortunately, Publish0x Team couldn't provide any help and my initial search on the web for a saved version of the article again failed. So as a last resort before starting writing the article from scratch again, I have decided to throw all of my hopes to my loyal readers by making an announcement if someone of them might have saved an offline version of my article for further reading. Salvation came from an unexpected friend called [DeadButDifferent] who managed to recover my cached article through Bing's Internet Archives. I have to say a huge THANK YOU to [DeadButDifferent] for helping me recover my article. And as Gary Gensler used to say,
Always remember, Not your keys, Not your articles.
Always try to retain an offline version of your articles for just in case something goes wrong...
Next there was actually a sequence of Hiking Sundays articles for my hikes at The Viros Forest, The Fishermen's Route and Porto Timoni with the Corfu Hiking and Climbing Club during the early months of 2024. Unfortunately, due to work obligations I didn't manage to compose the articles earlier than the closing months of the year and neither I managed to participate in more hikes so far. Luckily, I hope that there will be more spare time in my life in the following months for more Hiking Sundays articles as I try to differentiate my article subjects, not only about crypto but also for my outdoor activities. For those who might be interested, the Corfu Hiking and Climbing Club, is a well established hiking club in the island of Corfu organising hikes and climbs not only in the Corfu countryside but also in the more mountainous Greek mainland especially in the closer regions of Epirus, Macedonia and SW Greece.
The latest hype in Telegram Crypto Apps following the famous and popular $DOGS airdrop made me to write an article for another interesting corner of the crypto space as more and more companies are trying to take advantage of the crypto-Revolution ignited by Satoshi Nakamoto many years ago. And after my Play2Earn experience, it was time to write an article about My Telegram Tap2Earn Experience. Again, watch this space, more articles might emerge in 2025.
My article GoodBye FB, Welcome Life narrates my Bad Luck experience that hit me badly again in November 2024 when my FB accounts were suspended losing all my connections there. And I have realised that i wasn't alone as several FB users in USA got their account suspended as well. Two and a half months afterwards I am still breathing shifting my social media interactions in other social media with a more liberal approach about the freedom of speech on the web.
My 2024 articles almost finished with another Publish0x writing contest competition and although my working schedule was very busy with the encouragement of PVM who was part of the organisers and Publish0x Team, I manage to write an article about the The ACX Bridges of DeFi Babylon
My final article for 2024 with title The Top Non-Christmas POP Songs wasn't very popular at all. Possibly because the subject about the Top non-Christmas POP songs wasn't very popular at all or it was very predictable. Possibly Publish0x readers aren't interested in non-Crypto articles at all or because people still love to enjoy a commercialised version of Christmas. In any case, I would like to clarify that I am not an anti-Christmas supporter and that I have nothing against people of other faiths who enjoy to celebrate a commercialised version of Christmas. At the very end, they can be also baptised as Christians as well and celebrate Christmas in a more religious way. However, my general experience from Christmas in UK for 10 years is that they are becoming heavily commercialised in comparison with Greece where Christmas is still more traditional and religious with lots of local events and festivities and less commercialisation. Maybe I am just missing the old good Christmas of my childhood of 80s and 90s.
