What is Splinterlands?
Splinterlands is a card game, similar with Hearthstone, where you can play battle against other players to get a better rank or in tournaments. It is a NFT game based on Hive Blockchain, with multiple ways to capitalise and make money, real money, by playing it or trading in it. You can start earning as soon as you buy a Spellbook ($10) getting DEC tokens and NFT monster cards via daily quests and season quests (every 2 weeks). There is an airdrop daily, for a whole year, currently at day 300/365, I think, and you can still get some nice governance tokens just by playing the game for the next few months. Everything counts, cards, DEC on HIVE, WAX, ETH and BSC, lands, titles, skins. You can maximize the airdrop by staking all you SPS for a 57% APR right now. Holy Molly! This is quite a jump form the 26% last week, and I think a lot of people unstacked in order to get some validators. Hope I get one. Another way to make profit is to rent cards, getting paid in DEC tokens for it. But, my, oh my, the renting price right now is so, so low.
At last, we can finally buy packs with 4$, using just Credits. Even then, if you want to get the extra packs, you still need vouchers, but just for the bonus packs. An awesome hint from a really good player (not me), if you open your packs after the Legendary summoners are introduced, you have a small chance to get them from the packs. It was announced that Lands NFT and Riftwatchers pack are coming in the third quarter now, with the new Roadmap proposed by Splinterlands. Just check this awesome page about what are the Lands supposed to do.
Actually this card, along with the Fire Beetle, are my prefered card to play with Yodin Zaku. They cost 7 mana togheter, and provide me with an awesome 8 (3+5) Ranged attack and Blast. Can you wish for more? My Scavo Firebolt is only level 7, but at max level this card will provide 4 Ranged damage, 4 Speed and 6 Health, with only 4 Mana cost. Is a favorite for Little League Ruleset, and few more others. At level 6 it will get Knock Out, doing double damage when enemy is stunned, combining greatly with cards with Stun like Lava Launcher or Pit Ogre.

So, for the challenge, this were the starting conditions:
Mana Limit: 56
Rulesets: Stampede (Trample can be triggered more than once, if you kill an enemy card)
Mine - Summoner: Tarsa (boosting Health and Melee Attack by 1), with Grum Flameblade as main tank, using Bloodlust to improve stats when killing, decreasing Magic attacks with Void and Void Armor, and Giant Killer to do double damage on monsters with health higher than 10, Fineas being off-tank, with Reach and Oppress, Sand Worm, with Sneak and 7 Melee attack, Ifrit Rising, to one-shot an opponent card with magic every 2 rounds using Recharge, and defending with a Forcefield against super damage, Scavo Firebolt with Knockout (double damage on stunned monsters) and Lava Launcher with Stun and a useless Close Range.
Opponent - Summoner: Quix (decreasing the opponent Ranged Attack and Speed by 1), with same Grum as main tank, only level 2, without Giant Killer skill, Carnage Titan as off-tank with Reach and Double Strike, Chaos Dragon randomly shooting Magic bolts with his Scattershot and Blast , Serpentine Spy with Opportunity, Spirit Miner with Speed boost and Dodge, and Supply Runner with extra Speed boost.
This was a interesting battle, and while my opponent went for Speed, hopping to make me miss some hits, I opted for extra damage, a lot of Melee, Magic and Ranged damage, just in case of some abilities decreasing my skills. His Supply Runner died first, followed by his main tank, Grum, and my Scavo paid the ultimate price for this daring action. The Carnage Titan has no chance against my Ifrit, and the Chaos Dragon followed. Another bloodlust saved my tank, and the last two cards were quickly defeated. The victory is mine.
Star of the game - Grum Flameblade, and his Bloodlust skill, saving him from dying quite few times.
On the side note, my continuous support for Splintertalk.io is going well, with my SPT tokens number raising over 1 million. All of it is delegated to @monster-curator, as this account is doing a great work curating the best posts on the forum. I have finally reached the needed SPT power (110K at the moment) to manually curate on Splinterlalk.io. Also, working on acquiring 50K Oneup (14000 UP now) next, inspired by the Cartel efforts. Bought 200K Level too, for PsiberX airdrop, as I also managed to round up 100 Hive to buy a piece of Land in their game. Got 2 PsyberX packs already on airdrop. Happy to have them!
Also, if you are posting on Publish0x and Read.cash blogs, and you liked the Chifibots game mentioned in the latest OneUp Cartel posts, there are still 4 prizes to be won if you want to get some of their NFT packs on this contest, open until the day they launch.
All the best,
