First thank you, For taking the time to look at my post this is going to be about the coinbase wallet app for coinbase.com versus Pro.coinbase .com
Both are operated by the same US base company coinbase but one is significantly cheaper to buy and sell your cryptocurrency. If you're using coinbase.com you will notice that purchasing crypto on there is a lot more expensive than if you were to purchase it on their Exchange so my suggestion would be to open yourself a coinbase account if you don't have one and you can use the same credentials to log into the pro coinbase and do your trade and purchases there.
Sending and receiving cryptocurrency from your coinbase wallet to Pro coinbase is free and most of the time there is unlimited transactions between the two.
I've also noticed that if you were to buy on coinbase you're actually paying a lot more money to purchase any single cryptocurrency . Example right now the going rate for one Bitcoin is about $56000 + if you were to purchase this on the wallet they're actually going to charge you around $58000+ why would you want to pay an extra $200 to $300 more when you can use their exchange and deposit USD instantly from your account and use it right away for no additional fee.
Don't get me wrong I like the coinbase wallet and I like the feature that they have which is vault where you can store away your cryptocurrency and make it a little harder for you to actually spend it because they require two steps to access your held funds. In the long-run holding it I believe it's going to be very valuable in the future more than it is now.
This is just my opinion so please don't take this as Financial advice it's just speculation and no more than that no one can actually predict the price of Bitcoin in the future.
Another cool feature that coinbase wallet has is coinbase earn where you can actually earn free cryptocurrencies by watching short videos and answering short questions about the crypto-currency. They have around $130 worth of free cryptos that you can earn.
