It has been more than 2 weeks now that I have been playing Splinterlands and so far I have been progressing well considering I only play about 20-30 games per day. I would complete the Daily Quest so I would get the chest rewards. Most of my daily quest rewards are either DarkEnergyCrystal (DEC) or the Legendary or Alchemy potions.
Right now I have been through two season with both season ending up in Silver League 1. I couldn't get into the top 25 for the untamed card packs and my highest rating in the leaderboard is at 255. At least I still able to get 18 Loot Chest for ending up in Silver 1. After my first season, my rank dropped back to Silver III instead of Bronze I. I also would have to thank Moriarty for delegating some cards for me to push start me in the game.
This my first season rewards which was two weeks back. Considering that I'm still a newbie to the game, any cards would be very helpful to increase my card power rating. Of this lot, I use Fineas Rage and Centauri Mage a lot. I have seen others use Demented Shark successfully against me and I'm still trying to figure the best way to use this card. I also get some DECs and couple of potions. Total cards value stands at $0.178 for this season.
The past season just end and from the 18 chest that I received for Silver 1 is as per below. 2 Rare, 2 Epic & 3 common cards & 92 DECs. It is nice that I got Torhilo the Frozen. I have lost quite a few matches with this card against me. Silvershield Sheriff might be useful too if high mana battles. Anyway, the cards total value that I received this round has increase to $0.587 in value.
These are my current DEC & available potions. I'm almost reaching 2,000 DEC and will use it to purchase my first Untamed Packed. I don't have to purchase any potions any more to increase my chance of getting Legendary cards or Gold Foil (GF) cards. Crossing my fingers for 1 GF card at least please.
