NFT's have been in the public eye for the last few weeks with the huge prices that some of these pieces of digital art are starting to fetch. This has led to a lot of back and forth on the true value of NFT's and if this is just a bubble or the beginning of a new frontier. Never one to miss the newest craze Elon Musk has now hopped on the trend with an NFT of his own. 

Elon's NFT is.... well interesting..... he has created a techno song about NFT's as his first NFT. When you look at it from the standpoint of the guy who made a song about NFTs for his first NFT I cannot help but laugh at it! This perfectly sums up Elon and the type of character he has been in the crypto space.

His foray into NFTs though has me wondering if he is just poking fun at the whole craze right now though. It would be perfectly within his character to do this as a joke to publically make fun of the craze. When we think about all the stunts that Elon has pulled over the years could this just be the next one? With SpaceX as a publicity stunt, he sent his car into space so really creating an NFT to make fun of them would be a rather small thing for the man! This is the guy who appears to love Doge and hypes it up on Twitter multiple times a week. 

I would think if he was trying to do something serious he would use either SpaceX or The Boring Company to create NFTs to profit off of them. The fact that he created a song about NFTs for his first NFT makes me a little suspicious of what his intentions are here. Beyond him announcing that he is going to sell it as his first NFT I have yet to see where he is selling it or for how much....
