With the latest Brave Browser update, you were able to transfer BAT from your iOS device to your PC which was key due to Apple shutting down the iOS Brave Rewards system. In my article yesterday I talked about how I had done this and how it had turned out. Finally after not hearing back from anyone someone from the Development Team spoke out about the issue.
Steven who is typically the one that posts about payouts and when they are processing or done informed us that the bug has been detected. Turns out a bunch of people are having the issue and it did not even require people to use the iOS transfer for the rewards to reset to zero and never move. According to him a patch/update is being worked on currently and should be available in a few days. Until then it is recommended you DO NOT UPDATE your browser. Everyone who has been impacted like me will be made whole. Since the ad tracker is still working they will be able to figure out how much BAT is owed with the number of ads, so that was really good to hear! Luckily this appears to just be some minor blip that has occurred which honestly does not surprise me given the complexity of moving this from an Apple app to a PC data transfers are bad enough not to mention things worth money!
Again it has been told to the community to NOT update for the next few days as they finalize a patch to fix the issue!
