Jupiter tree

By marjuanm | Brushstrokes of the Day | 7 Nov 2025

Hello everyone, thank you so much for your continued support of my work.

A few weeks ago, I shared some photos similar to these on Reddit, looking for more information about them. Well, I was told that it's called a "crape myrtle" or "Jupiter's tree" (Lagerstroemia indica); it's good to know because I usually use Pl@ntNet identifiers, but they gave me a 50/50 chance of it being a crape myrtle or a queen of flowers.

These photos were taken in Puebla, Mexico.
