BlockchainRPG V4 Updates Finally Announced

It is exciting to announce some updates to our player community for BlockchainRPG. The last 2 years have been tough for a lot of NFT-based gaming projects on WAX but BlockchainRPG has been able to continue building in the right direction. I have the pleasure of sharing a recent announcement with the community about the next steps for BlockchainRPG and our player community.

Summary:

Contract Updates - Originally, the game contract for BlockchainRPG was under 'unapologetic' and is transitioning over to '.bprg'. The transition falls in line with the overall rebranding strategy for BlockchainRPG to be BRPG. A similar change occurred in 2022 when the original BlockchainRPG NFT collection transitioned from 'BlokchainRPG' to 'BRPG'. The rebranding assists with overall visibility and continuity with the long-term strategy our team has.

Multiple Characters - Instead of hunting with only one BRPG NFT character, Adventurers will be able to stake and utilize multiple characters at the same time. Each character staked in player accounts will have its own hunt and heal cooldown timer. The move to multiple characters will help with player retention and NFT utility.

New Character Healing System - Each character will now be able to heal with their own cooldowns. Instead of a standard amount of free heals per day, Heals will now have a cooldown based on NFT character rarity. The higher the NFT rarity, the higher the cooldown rate for healing.

Limited NFT Character Drop - More details will be provided soon along with some preview images for the very limited NFT Character drop, currently planned for April 2023. Join BRPG discord for more information and to stay up to date.

Level System Reset and Season 1 Level Rewards - Season 1 for player levels is coming to a close at the end of March 2023. The highest rank Adventurers will be awarded exclusive NFT stickers as prizes. Adventurers will be able to compete for the top-level spot and the rarest NFT award until 4/1/23.

GOLD Emissions Changes - In short, GOLD is currently generated per hunt, per hunting zone. Each hunting zone had a GOLD pool where GOLD had the same generation rate per second. Although, with a heavier population of Adventurers hunting in the Forest (on the hunt for rare NFT drops or rare crafting tokens), the GOLD rewards started to decrease in the harder hunting zone. The new GOLD emission plan will be to merge both GOLD polls into a single pool. Adventurers will receive a portion of the total hunting pool based on their hunting level difficulty, which will make balancing easier and continue supporting higher GOLD rewards for more difficult hunts.
